About Me:

I’ve spent my life around sports, growing up playing travel hockey, lacrosse, baseball, and football, and later competing in semi-professional football. Over the years, I’ve coached youth athletes across football (tackle and flag), basketball, soccer, lacrosse, and golf, and I’ve built programs from the ground up, including a youth lacrosse program and a youth golf development program.

What sets me apart is my background as an elementary school teacher and math tutor. I know how to break skills down, communicate clearly, and connect with athletes of all learning styles—including beginners, intermediate players, and those who need a more structured or supportive approach. I focus on building confidence, strong fundamentals, and skills that translate directly into game performance.

How I can help you improve your game:

I focus on golf, lacrosse, and football, but I coach athletes across multiple sports. As a former teacher, I break skills down in a way that’s easy to understand, helping athletes build confidence, improve quickly, and perform at a higher level.

What a typical training session looks like with me:

A typical session starts with a quick assessment to understand the athlete’s current skill level and goals. From there, we break down key fundamentals and focus on 1–2 specific skills. I keep things simple and structured, using drills that translate directly into game situations. We finish with game-like reps and feedback so athletes leave knowing exactly what they improved and what to work on next.

Career summary and accomplishments:

My background as an athlete spans multiple sports, including hockey, lacrosse, baseball, and football, where I later competed at the semi-professional level. While I’ve had success as a player, my biggest accomplishments have come through coaching and developing athletes.

I’ve helped build teams from the ground up—taking beginner groups and turning them into competitive teams. That includes leading a youth basketball team with no prior experience to a championship game run, and helping a developing football team stay together, improve, and earn their first win after a tough start to the season.

My focus has always been on growth, confidence, and fundamentals. I take pride in helping athletes improve, believe in themselves, and achieve results they didn’t think were possible.

Best coach I ever had:

The best coach I ever had was my dad in baseball. He had a unique ability to meet players where they were, build their confidence, and help them improve without overcomplicating things. That approach has had a big influence on how I coach today.

I’ve also learned from high-level coaches in hockey, lacrosse, and football, which has helped me develop a well-rounded coaching style. I focus on keeping things simple, building confidence, and helping athletes grow both in skill and mindset.

What athletes and parents should know about me:

What athletes and parents should know about me is that I genuinely care. I take the time to understand each athlete’s goals, strengths, and challenges, and I adjust my coaching to fit their needs. Every athlete is different, and my focus is helping them build confidence, improve, and enjoy the process.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.

Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!

We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.

Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.

Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
