Sprint with a purpose. Learn the whys and hows behind every movement.

I coach speed development with a focus on biomechanics, force application, and real sprint mechanics, not gimmicks or endless conditioning. My approach is built around developing complete athletes. Improving acceleration, max velocity, movement efficiency, and durability so speed actually transfers to competition. Every session has intent, every rep has purpose, and training is individualized based on the athlete, their sport, and what they need to perform faster at a high level. My track career didn't go the way I wanted it to, so my goal as a coach, is to ensure whoever trains with me, can feel confident and achieve the goals they want. It all starts with the little things and that's the most important thing that I overlooked as an athlete, and that many athletes today overlook as well. If you train with me, you will be a better athlete, not just physically, but also mentally. What I do for others, is what I wasn't able to achieve myself, and I don't want others to have the same regrets I do.

Get to know Coach Amir

About Me:

I’m Amir, a former sprinter for Benedictine University and a former athlete at Oak Park & River Forest High School, where I competed in the 100m, 200m, 4x100m, and 4x200m. I was an All-State athlete in the 200m and helped my 4x200m relay team place 2nd in the state. I recently graduated with my Master’s degree in Organizational Behavior @Benedictine University in May 2026. Recently was a Sprints Coach there as well.

My passion for coaching really grew toward the end of my athletic career. Teammates and coaches constantly told me I had a gift for breaking down sprint mechanics and teaching the details in ways athletes actually understood. Over time, I realized coaching wasn’t far fetched for me at all, it was something I genuinely loved after getting into it.

A big reason I coach is because of the mistakes and setbacks I experienced myself throughout track, football, and training in general. I know what it feels like to look back wishing you had better guidance, better understanding, or a better plan. My goal is to help athletes avoid those same mistakes and develop the right way from the start.

(Ask me anything as well lol, I am an open book)

How I can help you improve your game:

Speed changes everything. I help athletes improve acceleration, sprint mechanics, explosiveness, efficiency, and overall movement quality so their speed transfers directly into competition. Sessions are individualized, technical, and built with purpose. I break sprinting down in ways athletes actually understand using video analysis, analogies, and detailed coaching most athletes never get access to.

What a typical training session looks like with me:

A typical session includes a warm up focused on movement quality, sprint drills, technical work, the typical acceleration/max velocity training, and individualized coaching based on what you need most. Expect a lot of feedback, video breakdowns, corrections, and learning throughout the session. I coach details heavily because small changes create big improvements. Sessions are challenging, high quality, and focused on real development, not just getting tired. I will be asking you questions as I want you to also think about what you're doing. That's the most important part, if you know and understand what you're doing, it will become easier to do specific movements and overall, sprint.

Best coach I ever had:

The best coach(es) I've ever had were my two high school coaches, Coach Allen and Coach Hasso. Coach Allen specifically is a part of the reason why I train athletes the way I do, he was detail oriented and mechanic focused. Really made me understand how to sprint more than what I knew at the time. Coach Hasso, he was one of those coaches where you either like him or you don't, he was very intense but he REALLY cared about his athletes and it showed. He wanted the best out of us at all times. He says things in very intense ways and many people may not like that, but I think it's something all athletes need to experience, to really find out if they want it or nor.

What athletes and parents should know about me:

I care deeply about athlete development and take coaching seriously. I’m very detail oriented, patient, and honest with my athletes because I want them to improve the right way. I’ll challenge athletes, hold them accountable, and teach them to understand their movement instead of just blindly doing drills and sprinting. My goal is not only to make athletes faster, but to help them become smarter, more confident competitors as well.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.

Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!

We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.

Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.

Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
