Helping athletes build confidence, overcome challenges and perform at their best
I'm a second-year Master's student in Sport and Performance Psychology at the University of Denver, with 10+ years of tennis coaching experience and mental performance work with Division I athletes. I help athletes of all ages build confidence, manage pressure, improve focus, and develop mental skills that translate to both sports and everyday life. My approach is personal, supportive, and tailored to each athlete's individual goals.
Whether you're struggling with confidence, getting frustrated after mistakes, feeling pressure during competition, or simply looking to take your performance to the next level, I'm here to help!
I work with athletes to develop mental skills such as confidence, focus, motivation, emotional regulation, positive and productive self-talk, and managing performance pressure.
I believe mental performance is just as important as physical preparation, and just like physical skills, mental skills can be practiced and improved.
My approach is individualized, meaning we will work together to identify your strengths, understand your challenges, and develop strategies that actually work for you. I want athletes to walk away from our sessions with practical tools they can use during practices, competitions, and everyday life.
Every session looks a little different because every athlete is different!
I typically start by checking in with the athlete about how things have been going in their sport, what has been challenging, and any recent successes or experiences they want to discuss.
From there, we work on specific mental skills based on their goals. Sessions may include conversations, interactive activities, reflection exercises, visualization, goal setting, or practicing strategies for handling challenging situations in their sport.
Especially with younger athletes, I love incorporating games and creative activities to make mental training engaging and enjoyable.
At the end of each session, we identify something the athlete can practice or apply before we meet again. My goal is for athletes to feel comfortable sharing their experiences while also leaving each session with something meaningful they can use.
I am currently pursuing my Master's degree in Sport and Performance Psychology at the University of Denver, where I have gained hands-on experience working with athletes across different sports and competitive levels.
My experience includes working with NCAA Division I athletes, as well as recreational and competitive athletes ranging from 11 to 75 years old. I've worked with athletes in tennis, soccer, football, softball, taekwondo, and rock climbing, among other sports.
In addition to mental performance consulting, I have over 10 years of experience coaching tennis, including working with competitive junior athletes, high school players, and recreational players of all ages and abilities. I also played college tennis, which has given me an understanding of the challenges athletes experience from both a player's and a coach's perspective.
One of my proudest accomplishments is founding a nonprofit organization that received an ESPY Award. This experience further strengthened my passion for using sports to make a positive difference in people's lives.
The best coaches I've had weren't necessarily the ones who pushed me the hardest, but the ones who took the time to understand me as a person, not just as an athlete.
They challenged me to improve while also creating an environment where I felt supported and comfortable making mistakes. They helped me realize that progress isn't always about results, but also about the effort, attitude, and growth that happen along the way.
Those experiences have had a big influence on the way I approach coaching today. I want athletes to feel challenged but supported, and to know that their value goes beyond their performance in their sport.
Something I want athletes and parents to know about me is that I genuinely care about the athletes I work with, not just their performance, but also their growth and well-being as individuals.
I understand that every athlete is different. Some are naturally outgoing, while others take more time to open up, and that's completely okay! I prioritize building trust and creating a comfortable, supportive environment where athletes feel heard, understood, and confident being themselves.
I also believe that mental performance coaching doesn't always have to feel serious or structured. I love incorporating creativity, humor, and interactive activities into my sessions, especially with younger athletes, while still making sure everything we do has a purpose.
Most importantly, I want athletes to enjoy the process of improving. Sports should be challenging, but they should also be fun! My goal is to help athletes develop confidence, resilience, and mental skills that will stay with them long after their athletic careers.

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.
Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.
Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!
We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.
Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.
Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
