About Me:

I’ve been playing softball since I was four years old, started pitching at eight, and competed in high‑level travel ball from age twelve through high school. I went on to play four years of collegiate softball at the Division III level, where I refined my mechanics, discipline, and understanding of the game. Now, I use that lifelong experience to teach young pitchers the fundamentals that truly matter—proper mechanics, consistency, confidence, and a strong foundation they can build on for years. My goal is to help new athletes learn the craft the right way from the start, so they can grow into skilled, resilient, and knowledgeable players.

How I can help you improve your game:

As a former competitive pitcher with experience at the travel and collegiate levels, I understand what young athletes need as they begin learning the position. My coaching focuses on building strong fundamentals—proper mechanics, safe movement patterns, and consistent technique—so your athlete develops a solid foundation from the start.

I break skills down into clear, manageable steps that make sense for beginners and help them grow with confidence. I also understand the mental side of pitching. I’ve faced my own challenges with confidence and mental blocks, so I know how overwhelming that can feel for a young player. Because of that, I work intentionally on mindset: teaching pitchers how to reset, stay patient with themselves, and build resilience when things get tough.

My goal is to support your child as a whole athlete—physically, mentally, and emotionally. I want them to understand the “why” behind what they’re learning, feel proud of their progress, and develop the confidence and discipline that will carry them forward in the sport.

What a typical training session looks like with me:

Each session is designed to help your athlete build strong fundamentals, gain confidence, and understand their own progress. I keep the structure consistent so young pitchers know what to expect and can settle into a routine that supports learning.

1. Warm‑Up and Body Preparation

We start by getting the body moving—light stretching, mobility work, and simple movements to activate the muscles used in pitching. This helps prevent injury and sets the tone for focused work.

2. Pitching Warm‑Up

Next, we ease into throwing with a gradual pitching warm‑up. This allows your athlete to find their rhythm, reconnect with their mechanics, and get comfortable before we introduce drills or adjustments.

3. Targeted Drills and Skill Work

Once they’re warm, we break down mechanics as needed. I use drills that are age‑appropriate, purposeful, and tailored to what your athlete needs that day—whether it’s arm circle efficiency, leg drive, wrist snap, accuracy, or consistency. I explain the “why” behind each drill so they understand what they’re building.

4. Athlete‑Led Focus

I always take time to ask what they want to work on. Giving young pitchers a voice helps them take ownership of their development and builds confidence in their ability to communicate and self‑reflect.

5. End on a “Feel‑Good” Pitching Round

We finish with something positive—full pitches, a challenge they can succeed at, or a drill that helps them leave the session feeling strong and proud. Ending on a high note matters for confidence and motivation.

6. Session Review and Next Steps

Before they leave, we talk through what went well, what we focused on, and what they can work on before the next session. This helps them understand their progress and gives parents a clear picture of their development.

Career summary and accomplishments:

Throughout my softball career, I’ve consistently balanced high‑level athletic performance with strong academic achievement. In college, I earned recognition as a Third Team All‑Conference selection as a junior and was named to the Conference Tournament Team during my sophomore season, the year our team won the conference championship. As a freshman, I received a university award honoring female student‑athletes who excel both on the field and in the classroom. I graduated with honors and was inducted into a collegiate athlete honor society, reflecting my commitment to academic excellence alongside athletics.

In high school, I was a two‑time Conference Pitcher of the Year, helped lead my team to two conference championships, and earned All‑Conference honors all four years. I capped my senior season by being named to the All‑State Team, recognizing my performance among the top athletes in the state.

These accomplishments reflect not only my skill and competitiveness as a pitcher, but also my discipline, leadership, and dedication to growth—qualities I bring into my coaching and mentorship of young athletes.

Best coach I ever had:

One of the biggest reasons I coach the way I do is because of the impact my own pitching coach had on me. She wasn’t just someone who taught me mechanics—she was someone I could talk to about life, school, confidence, and everything in between. She cared about me as a person just as much as she cared about my pitching, and that relationship shaped who I became as an athlete.

I model my coaching methods after her. I want your athlete to feel supported, understood, and valued beyond their performance. Pitching is a demanding position, and young athletes need a coach who sees the whole person—not just the result of the last pitch. I work to create an environment where your child feels comfortable asking questions, expressing frustrations, and celebrating their progress. That kind of trust is what helps athletes grow, stay confident, and enjoy the game long‑term.

My goal is to be the kind of coach who helps your athlete develop skills, discipline, and resilience—but also someone who listens, encourages, and supports them as they navigate the ups and downs of learning a challenging position.

What athletes and parents should know about me:

As a former competitive pitcher at the travel and collegiate levels, I bring both high‑level playing experience and a strong academic background to my coaching. I’ve earned multiple athletic honors throughout my career, including Third Team All‑Conference, a Conference Tournament Team selection, and a university award recognizing female student‑athletes who excel both academically and athletically. I graduated college with honors and was inducted into a collegiate athlete honor society, reflecting my commitment to discipline, balance, and excellence on and off the field.

Before college, I was a two‑time Conference Pitcher of the Year, helped lead my high school team to two conference championships, earned All‑Conference honors all four years, and was named to the All‑State Team as a senior. These accomplishments shaped my understanding of what it takes to grow, compete, and succeed as a young pitcher.

But what matters most in my coaching is not just what I achieved—it’s what I learned. I’ve experienced my own challenges with confidence and mental blocks, and I know how overwhelming that can feel for a young athlete. Because of that, I coach with patience, empathy, and a focus on building both skill and mindset. I want athletes to feel supported, understood, and capable of working through tough moments.

My goal is to support your child as a whole athlete—physically, mentally, and emotionally. I want them to understand the “why” behind what they’re learning, feel confident in their progress, and develop the discipline and resilience that will carry them forward in softball and beyond.
