I am a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) with a master's degree in Sport Psychology and over a decade of experience helping athletes strengthen the mental side of their performance. I have worked with youth, high school, and collegiate athletes across multiple sports, supporting them in building confidence, managing pressure, and developing the mental habits that lead to consistent performance.
Earlier in my career, I served as the Mental Skills and Performance Consultant for an NCAA Division I| basketball program, where I worked with both individual athletes and the team on skills such as focus, resilience, and competition preparation.
In addition to coaching, I have provided independent mental performance coaching to athletes across numerous sports, introducing them to practical mental skills they can apply in sport and in life. I am also a lifelong soccer player, which helps me connect with athletes and understand the challenges they face in competition. My goal is to help athletes feel confident, prepared, and mentally strong so they can perform at their best and enjoy their sport.
Success in sports is not only physical, it is also mental. It is not uncommon for athletes to sometimes struggle with confidence, nerves before competition, frustration after mistakes, or difficulty staying focused during games. In our sessions, I help athletes develop practical mental skills that allow them to perform more consistently and confidently when it matters most.
Together we work on skills such as confidence building, goal setting, visualization, positive self-talk, emotional regulation, focus, and performance routines. Each session is tailored to the individual athlete and their specific goals, whether that is managing pregame nerves, rebuilding confidence after an injury or slump, or developing a stronger competitive mindset. My approach is supportive, practical, and focused on giving athletes tools they can immediately apply in training and competition.
Each session is designed to help athletes develop practical mental skills they can apply immediately in training and competition. We begin by discussing the athlete's goals, current challenges, and recent experiences in their sport so we can focus on what will be most helpful.
From there, we work on specific mental performance tools such as confidence strategies, visualization, focus techniques, positive self-talk, and performance routines. Athletes practice these skills during the session and leave with simple exercises they can use during practices and games. My sessions are supportive, interactive, and tailored to each athlete so they build confidence, learn how to manage pressure, and develop a stronger competitive mindset.

One of the most impactful coaches I had was my high school soccer coach, Coach Gonzalez. He believed in my potential even when I doubted myself. At one point, he moved me into a new position that I initially thought I wouldn’t be good at, but he saw strengths in me that I hadn’t fully recognized yet. With his encouragement and trust, I ended up thriving in that role and becoming a stronger player because of it.
What stood out most about Coach Gonzalez was his ability to bring out the best in his athletes. He challenged us, supported us, and helped us see possibilities in ourselves that we might not have seen on our own. That experience shaped how I approach coaching today. I strive to help athletes build confidence, recognize their strengths, and believe in their ability to grow and succeed.
Athletes and parents should know that I believe the mental side of sports should feel supportive, practical, and empowering. My goal is not only to help athletes perform better, but also to help them enjoy their sport, build confidence, and develop skills that will serve them both in athletics and in life. I create an environment where athletes feel comfortable talking about challenges while also learning tools that help them grow.
I also believe that every athlete develops at their own pace. Some athletes need help managing nerves before competition, others want to strengthen confidence or focus, and many are simply looking to develop a stronger mindset. My role is to meet athletes where they are and help them build the mental skills that allow them to compete with confidence and resilience.

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.
Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.
Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!
We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.
Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.
Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
