Hi! I am a recently retired college track athlete. While at Winthrop, I competed in the 400m and 400mH races. I love to have fun, while also focusing on the task at hand. I have volunteer coaching experience in other sports and am seeking to expand my reach to track & field. Get to know Coach Alexandra

About Me:

While at Winthrop, I competed in the Big South Conference. I primarily ran the 400, and eventually switched to 400mH my senior year. I ran track in college because I genuinely loved my sport.

How I can help you improve your game:

I am a fun-loving person, so stress is never a factor at my sessions. Don't get me wrong, you will be expected to work hard, but the pressures of instant achievement will be alleviated through the understanding of progression. Track is a sport that is 90% mental. So reshaping perspectives and positive thinking are a priority. I firmly believe that success is when preparation meets opportunity. I am here to help you prepare for your opportunity.

What a typical training session looks like with me:

The whole session typically lasts 60-75 minutes:

- Warm Up

- Technical Drills

- Workout

- Cooldown

Sessions are curated to meet your goals. And yes, there will be ample time to recover between drills.

Career summary and accomplishments:

I am just beginning my career as a track coach; however, I have helped coach other sports at my high school alma mater - basketball and volleyball. Track is the sport I fell in love with and competed well in, so I felt it was only right to shift my coaching focus to it.

Best coach I ever had:

The best coach I ever had was my college Coach J. Coach J showed me that coaching extends far beyond training and running certain times. Coach J was an adamant believer in having a life outside of track and pursuing our academic goals, as they would set us up for success in our post-college careers. Coach J truly made it easy to love my sport because he made practice a safe-space. Practice was the highlight of my day and was the one place I could escape the stresses of school. Coach J was a fun-loving and crafted creative workouts to help us achieve our goals while also having fun.

What athletes and parents should know about me:

As a retired collegiate track and field student-athlete, my athletic journey has shaped the foundation of who I am both personally and professionally. Competing at a high level taught me the value of discipline, consistency, resilience, and teamwork while balancing the demands of academics and athletics. Through years of training, competition, and leadership experiences, I developed the ability to perform under pressure, adapt to challenges, and maintain a strong work ethic in every environment. As your coach, I will help you navigate the challenges that come with track and field and help your progress in your goals.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.

Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!

We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.

Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.

Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.

  • Good Fit Guarantee — If your first lesson isn't the right fit, we'll move your lesson credit to a new coach. No hassle.
