15-year HS Athletic Director & Coach training athletes for the next level

Hi, I’m Alexander. I specialize in high-end private athletic development and baseball/softball coaching right here in the South Orange County area. What sets my training apart is that I bring a full-circle perspective to an athlete's development. I played college baseball myself, so I know the mechanical precision it takes to play at the next level. On top of that, I hold a Master’s in Sports Management and spent 15 years as a high school Head Coach and Athletic Director. Because of that background, I don't just run standard backyard drills. I structure my sessions around modern sports science and injury prevention, and I actively help families navigate the complex high school-to-college recruiting matrix. My goal is to build the physical mechanics, mental toughness, and recruiting strategy your athlete needs to unlock their full potential.

About Me:

I am an elite athletic professional and former high school Athletic Director with over 15 years of dedicated experience building championship-level programs and mentoring competitive athletes. My coaching philosophy bridges the gap between high-level on-field mechanics and strategic athletic development, giving youth and high school players the exact tools they need to succeed at the next level.

My 15-year career in athletic administration is backed by deep academic credentials, holding a Master’s Degree in Sports Management along with a specialized degree in Athletic Coaching. This unique combination allows me to structure highly disciplined training sessions rooted in modern sports science, advanced biomechanics, and comprehensive injury prevention.

Having run high school athletic departments and overseen varsity pipelines across multiple sports, I possess an inside understanding of the high school-to-college transition. I don't just run standard drills; I mentor families through the complex collegiate recruiting matrix, NCAA compliance, and what collegiate scouts actively look for in top-tier prospects. Whether your athlete needs to refine elite sport-specific mechanics or build a strategic roadmap for their athletic future, I provide the premium, professional oversight necessary to unlock their full potential

How I can help you improve your game:

Every training session I design is structured to deliver measurable athletic growth, high-level structural adjustment, and strategic mentorship. Because of my 15-year background as an Athletic Director and Coach, I approach your development from a total-package perspective:

Mechanical & Tactical Precision: We will break down your sport-specific movements (including specialized baseball hitting/fielding biomechanics) using modern sports science. I focus heavily on core stability, explosive power, and proper form to maximize on-field performance while strictly preventing injury.

In-Game Football/Baseball IQ & Mental Grit: Elite athletes aren't just physically gifted; they out-think the opposition. I train players to read situations faster, slow down the game under pressure, and build the structural mental toughness required to handle varsity and collegiate-level competition.

The College Recruiting Roadmap: For high school athletes aiming for the next level, our work extends off the field. I provide elite consulting on the college scouting process, how to build a recruitment portfolio that catches coaches' attention, and how to navigate NCAA compliance rules.

I don't offer generic, cookie-cutter drills. When you train with me, you get a personalized, high-performance blueprint designed by a veteran athletic administrator to elevate your physical skills, your sports IQ, and your competitive future.

What a typical training session looks like with me:

Every 60-minute session is run with the structure, discipline, and intentionality of a high-end collegiate practice. We do not waste a single minute. A standard session is broken down into four distinct, high-impact phases:

Phase 1: Dynamic Warm-Up & Mobility (10 Minutes)

We begin with a sport-specific dynamic warm-up focused on joint mobility, core activation, and injury prevention. Drawing from modern sports science, I ensure the athlete’s body is fully primed for explosive movement before we introduce any high-velocity drills.

Phase 2: Fundamental Mechanics & Technical Drills (20 Minutes)

This is the hyper-focused, micro-coaching phase. We isolate specific movements—such as hitting mechanics, footwork patterns, or fielding transitions. I utilize real-time biomechanical feedback to break down the athlete's form, correct subtle inefficiencies, and build proper muscle memory.

Phase 3: High-Intensity Game Simulation (20 Minutes)

Once mechanics are dialed in, we put them under pressure. We transition into high-tempo, situational drills that replicate actual in-game scenarios. This phase is designed to build metabolic conditioning, accelerate reaction times, and elevate the athlete's in-game IQ.

Phase 4: Cool-Down & Strategic Mentorship Review (10 Minutes)

We close with targeted recovery stretching to prevent soreness. During this time, we conduct a post-session review to track progress against their performance goals. For high school athletes, this final block is also used to discuss recruiting timelines, academic requirements, and upcoming athletic benchmarks.

Every athlete leaves the session with explicit "homework"—targeted mental or physical cues to focus on before our next meeting to ensure continuous compounding growth.

Best coach I ever had:

The best coach I ever had was my childhood Little League coach, and his philosophy still directly shapes how I run my training sessions today.

He ran a serious, fast-paced environment, but always balanced it with a great sense of humor exactly when the team needed it. He held us to incredibly high standards and treated our Little League team like true professionals. He meticulously tracked our statistics, expected full effort, but was entirely fair and supportive to every single player on the roster.

That experience taught me that young athletes thrive when you raise the bar for them, not when you lower it. Because of him, I bring that same professional intensity, data-driven feedback, and strict fairness to my sessions—ensuring athletes work hard, learn the game properly, and have a great time doing it.

What athletes and parents should know about me:

For the Parents:

I want you to know that your child’s safety, character development, and athletic growth are my highest priorities. Having spent 15 years as a high school Athletic Director and Coach, I operate with the highest level of professionalism, organization, and communication. I don't just teach sports mechanics; I teach accountability, discipline, and sportsmanship. I understand the investment you are making in your child’s future, and I am fully committed to giving them the structured, elite-level guidance they need to succeed academically and athletically.

For the Athletes:

I am going to hold you to a high standard, but I am also going to be your biggest supporter. My training sessions are fast-paced, high-energy, and structured like a pro practice, but we are always going to have fun doing it. I don't believe in cookie-cutter drills. We are going to look at your specific game, break down your mechanics, and build a customized plan to make you faster, stronger, and smarter on the field. If you are willing to put in the work and bring a great attitude, I will give you every tool you need to dominate your competition.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place.
