I’m a Mental Performance Coach with experience working in professional baseball with the Baltimore Orioles. My background is in sport, exercise, and performance psychology, and I help athletes develop the mental skills needed to perform with confidence, composure, focus, and consistency. As an athlete myself, I understand the pressure that comes with competition, training, setbacks, and expectations. My goal is to help athletes build the mindset, routines, and tools they need to compete at their best while also enjoying the process of getting better.
I help athletes improve the mental side of their game by working on confidence, focus, emotional control, self-talk, pre-game routines, reset strategies, goal setting, and performance under pressure. A lot of athletes know what they need to do physically, but struggle with staying calm, trusting themselves, bouncing back from mistakes, or staying focused when the game speeds up. I help athletes create simple, practical strategies they can use before, during, and after competition so they can become more consistent, resilient, and process-oriented.
A typical session starts with a quick check-in about how the athlete is doing, what has been going well, and what challenges have been showing up in games or practices. From there, we focus on one specific mental skill, such as confidence, composure, focus, routines, self-talk, or handling pressure. The session is usually a mix of conversation, reflection, practical exercises, and action steps the athlete can apply right away. Every session ends with a clear plan, so the athlete knows exactly what to work on before the next time we meet.

The best coach I ever had was Brook Fordyce during my time playing at NAIA powerhouse Keiser University. Coach Fordyce had a major impact on me because he understood the game, held players to a high standard, and knew how to bring out the best in the athletes around him. My experience playing for him helped shape the way I view coaching, development, discipline, and leadership. He showed me how important it is for a coach to challenge athletes, support them, and help them grow both as players and as people.
Athletes and parents should know that I care about the person just as much as the performer. My goal is not to give athletes complicated sport psychology terms; it is to give them simple tools they can actually use when they are competing. I believe confidence, focus, composure, and resilience can be trained just like physical skills. I also believe every athlete is different, so I make sessions personal, practical, and easy to apply. Whether an athlete is struggling with pressure, confidence, motivation, frustration, or consistency, I want to help them build a stronger mindset and a healthier relationship with their sport.

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.
Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.
Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!
We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.
Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
