Hi, I'm Adrianna! I'm a mental performance coach who helps athletes build the mental and emotional side of their game: confidence, motivation, focus, and resilience. I'm not a skills coach. I coach the person behind the athlete. My approach is strengths-based, grounded in sport and exercise psychology, and focused on building the kind of self-awareness and motivation that actually lasts. Whether you're chasing a goal, navigating a hard season, or just trying to feel like yourself again in your sport, I'm here for the whole picture.

I'm Adrianna, a mental performance coach with a B.S. in Sport & Exercise Psychology and a master's in human development and organizational performance. I've spent six years working at the intersection of sport, student development, and well-being across three universities.
I grew up competing in soccer, basketball, and tennis until my body had other plans; I suffered multiple concussions and developed POTS in high school, which changed my relationship with sport in ways I didn't expect. That experience pushed me toward the psychology side of sport and ultimately became the foundation of how I coach. I know what it feels like when sport gets complicated by things outside your control.
I've supported performance-focused students and athletes in academic, recreational, and organizational settings, contributed to published research on mindfulness and student-athletes, and spent years building trust-based relationships with people navigating high-pressure environments. Sport never left me. It just became my life's work.
I help athletes develop the mental and emotional skills that shape how they perform, compete, and show up in sport and in life.
Confidence & Mindset: Identify what's holding you back and build a stronger foundation to compete from.
Motivation & Goal-Setting: Get clear on what actually drives you and build goals that are meaningful, not just measurable.
Focus & Pressure Performance: Develop routines and mental skills that help you stay present when it counts.
Resilience & Identity: Navigate slumps, injuries, role changes, and hard seasons without losing yourself.
Strengths Discovery: Every athlete I work with leaves knowing themselves better than when we started.
My sessions are virtual, which means we can work together no matter where you are. A typical session runs 60 minutes:
Check-In: Where are you today? What's happened since we last met? This is really important to build trust and to let me know how to navigate the session.
Focus Work: The core of our session, tailored to your goals. This might be mindset work, building a mental performance skill, working through a specific challenge, or exploring motivation and identity.
Tools & Practice: You'll leave with something concrete to apply or try before we meet again.
Close & Commit: We end with intention. What are you taking with you, and what will you work on next?
No two sessions look the same because no two athletes are the same, but every session is purposeful and grounded in real sport psychology.
I'm a higher-education professional with six years of experience supporting athletes, students, and high-performers across three universities. I've worked directly with college athletes in both academic and performance contexts, contributed to peer-reviewed research on mindfulness and student-athletes, and was named the American Kinesiology Association National Scholar in 2024.
My dad — and yes, I know how that sounds. What made him the best was simple: he never let me forget I was a person first and an athlete second. No matter how a game went, he brought me back to myself; not my stats, not my mistakes, but me. That's rarer than it should be in sport, and it shaped everything about how I coach. The performance matters. But the person always matters more.
I'm younger, and I think that works in your favor. I'm not far removed from being a student-athlete myself: the pressure, the balancing act, the identity questions. I get it in a way that's recent, not distant.
I believe in academics and in having a life outside of sport. Burnout is real, and the healthiest competitors I've seen are the ones who have other things that ground them. I'm not here to make sport your whole world, I'm here to help you show up to it better.
Practically: I work full-time during the day, so I'm available evenings and weekends. If my availability doesn't match your needs, reach out and let's see if we can find something that works for us both! What you can always count on is honesty, preparation, and genuine care for your growth.

Meet your coach in-person or virtually, and start chasing down your goals!
If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.
Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.
Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!
We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.
Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.
Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
Good Fit Guarantee — If your first lesson isn't the right fit, we'll move your lesson credit to a new coach. No hassle.
Easy rescheduling — Cancel or reschedule up to 4 hours before a lesson, no questions asked.
Coach no-shows — You'll be fully credited and we'll help you find a replacement.
Flexible credits — Unused lessons last 12 months and can be used with any coach on the platform.

AU was created by former college and pro athletes. We understand the benefits of training with a private coach. It develops discipline, boosts confidence, and provides an undeniable advantage - whether you are just learning the game or looking to earn a college scholarship. All AU coaches are required to pass a thorough onboarding process + background check, so you can trust you're training with the best.
