Get to know Aaron

Developing confident and competitive players through fundamentals and mindset.

I bring a combination of high-level playing experience, college coaching, and recruiting knowledge to every lesson. As a three-time All-Conference player, former college athlete, and current college Recruiting Coordinator, I understand what it takes to develop—not just physically, but mentally as well. I work with each athlete individually to build strong fundamentals, improve baseball IQ, develop confidence, and create a competitive mindset. My goal is simple: help every player maximize the tools they have, understand the game better, and leave each lesson with something they can take into their next practice or game. Whether your athlete is just getting started or working toward playing at the next level, I want to help them become a smarter, more confident, and more complete player.

About me

I’m a former college baseball player and current college coach who is passionate about helping athletes become better players and better competitors.

I believe the mental approach to baseball is one of the most under-taught—and most important—aspects of the game today. Physical skills matter, but your mindset, confidence, preparation, and ability to handle failure can have just as much impact on your performance.

As someone who wasn’t always the biggest or most physically gifted player, I learned firsthand how important the mental side of the game is. My goal is to help athletes maximize the abilities they already have by developing confidence, toughness, baseball IQ, and a consistent approach.

During our lessons, we’ll work on the physical skills necessary to improve, but I’ll also teach you how to think the game, compete with confidence, respond to failure, and prepare yourself to perform when it matters most. I want every athlete to understand that they don’t have to be the most talented player on the field—they need to learn how to maximize their tools and compete to the best of their ability.

Every training session with me is designed around the individual athlete and what they need to improve. I want each player to leave a lesson feeling like they got better, learned something new, and have a clear goal to work toward.

We’ll typically start by identifying what we’re working on and getting the athlete moving with a proper warm-up. From there, we’ll focus on position-specific fundamentals and mechanics, whether that’s hitting, infield, throwing, defensive footwork, or overall baseball skills.

I also put a strong emphasis on the mental side of the game. Throughout the session, we’ll work on baseball IQ, approach, confidence, decision-making, and learning how to compete through failure and adversity.

I believe in keeping athletes engaged and challenged while making sure they understand why we’re doing each drill. Every session will be tailored to the athlete’s age, skill level, goals, and areas for improvement.

My goal is for every player to walk away from each session with improved skills, greater confidence, and something specific they can continue working on between lessons.

The best coach I ever had was my dad. From a young age, he taught me that baseball was about much more than just physical ability. He taught me how to work, compete, handle failure, stay confident, and understand the game.

A lot of what I learned from him has shaped the coach I am today. I try to bring that same passion, honesty, and attention to detail to every athlete I work with. I want players to know that I’m invested in their development—not just as baseball players, but as competitors and people.

My goal is to give athletes the knowledge, confidence, and mindset to maximize their abilities and reach whatever level they want to play at.

The first thing athletes and parents should know about me is that I genuinely care about helping players get better. The best coach I ever had was my dad, and a lot of the way I coach today comes from the lessons he taught me about hard work, preparation, confidence, and competing the right way.

I was never the biggest or most physically gifted player, so I understand what it means to maximize the tools you have and earn your opportunities. I believe every athlete has the ability to improve, and I want to help them discover what they are capable of.

I’m going to challenge you, but I’ll also explain why we’re doing what we’re doing. I want athletes to understand the game, not just perform drills. My goal is to develop confident players who know how to prepare, respond to failure, compete, and trust their abilities.

For parents, you can expect honest communication, a positive environment, and a coach who is invested in your athlete’s development. Whether your athlete is just starting out or has aspirations of playing college baseball, I’ll meet them where they are and help them take the next step.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.

Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!

We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.

Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.

Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.

  • Good Fit Guarantee — If your first lesson isn't the right fit, we'll move your lesson credit to a new coach. No hassle.

  • Easy rescheduling — Cancel or reschedule up to 4 hours before a lesson, no questions asked.

  • Coach no-shows — You'll be fully credited and we'll help you find a replacement.
