Athletic Background
Summary of Career and Accomplishments
I've been an athlete all my life. On the varsity skiing, tennis and soccer teams. I attended school in Western Massachusetts, where we had three hours of sports five days a week and travelled Wednesdays and Saturdays to competitions at neighboring schools. After graduating from high school I taught skiing at Squaw Valley, California. The home of the 1960 Winter Olympics. Like so many athletes, I started playing golf later in life. For the past seven years I have been teaching mindful techniques to golfers.
Who is the best coach you ever had and why?
Lito Tejada Flores. Lito has been teaching and writing about teaching skiing for fifty years. When I was teaching at Squaw Valley he led a clinic every week on the mountain for four hours. Only active instructors were allowed to participate. My skiing improved tremendously under the tutelage of Lito.
What should athletes and parents know about you?
This teaching platform works well for individuals over eighteen and those who consistently break one-hundred on the golf course, scratch golfers and professionals. It may also help those struggling with ADD.
