George White has been a head and assistant basketball coach at all levels of college and in the NBA Development League. He served as Head Coach at both Ursinus College and Virginia State as well as Assistant at Rider, St. Joseph's and Stanford. He is also a former student-athlete himself, having captained the basketball team at Harvard.
Who is the best coach you ever had and why?
My high school coach, Tom Kaczor - extensive knowledge of all aspects of the game, great strategist and bench coach, made you a better player if you embraced and practiced what he taught.
What should athletes and parents know about you?
I have a positive approach but take a very precise and detailed approach to develop your skills and make you an efficient player. You will get better if you practice and ingrain the habits and techniques that I teach you.
