- Currently Coaching 12U AAU winning 3 State Championships and Qualified for YBOA Nationals in Florida, Ranking 6th Nationally and 1st in the State of Texas (Via YBOA)
- Recently Trained and Coached at Pickup Fitness USA and BenX Sports for kids 8-17!
Who is the best coach you ever had and why?
I have two assistant coaches who I hold more valuable than any coach I’ve played for !
One, because they help me where o couldn’t see the help i needed for myself, and that’s a form of love. Being able to hold me accountable as we learn from each other .
More importantly, being with a staff that’s trying to reach the same goal but can identify and act upon their own Role!
What should athletes and parents know about you?
I’m Very understanding of my personal! I can identify a skill level and meticulously strategize a Workout specific to the players needs to elevate to the next level .
One thing I do demand is Effort and Energy ! Why not work you best to achieve your best! I always say Practice does not make Perfect; Perfect Practice Does!

How can you help someone improve their game?
The philosophy of the game is more dear to me than the Mechanics; every sport needs a positive Mentality and that’s what I aim to get the youth to Take more interest in; how they can react mentally
I’m very understanding with every individual as I try to process where they’ve been verses where they are trying to go!
What does a typical training session look like?
- We stretch before anything !
- Light Conditioning whether it’s 2 Ball dribbling, Defensive Slides, Free throw relays .. getting the blood flowing
- Then We Learn; I’ll talk to the client about what we will go over and why it’s important to work on. The knowledge is most important for you don’t want to work hard on things you don’t understand
- Then We Execute ! Reps are Vital to Success
- A Cool down with post stretches and mechanic drills
- Condition the rest of the way through !
- To Conclude, we go over what we’ve learned, ask each client what’s the biggest thing they got out of the workout and see where they would still want to improve on further; set another date to get another workout in , and hit a Quote of the day that they can take with them in hopes to recite back to me the next workout !
