Personal Experience: Having played college football as a quarterback myself, I intimately understand the challenges and demands of high-level athletics. I've navigated the pressures of competition, honed my skills on the field, and experienced the dedication required to excel in sports. Coaching Expertise: I've worked with athletes of various skill levels and backgrounds, helping them unlock their full potential and achieve their performance goals. Whether it's refining technique, building strength and conditioning, or mastering mental resilience, I have showcased versatility in my coaching process. Personalized Attention: I prioritize personalized attention in my coaching approach. Through one-on-one training sessions, I will be addressing specific areas for improvement and helping athletes maximize their talents. My goal is to empower each athlete to reach their peak performance and achieve success on and off the field. Passion for Development: Above all, I am deeply passionate about the development and growth of the athletes I work with. I am committed to fostering a positive and supportive environment where athletes feel empowered to push their limits, embrace challenges, and strive for excellence. With having a bachelors in psychology, I fully understand not only the sport, but what it means to go through the roller coaster of emotions while in a game and how to counter the negative emotions when things are not going well. By instilling a mindset of continuous improvement and self-belief, I help athletes unlock their true potential and become the best versions of themselves, both on and off the field.

My athletic career begins in high school. I was a multi-sport athlete all through high school. My sports included; football, baseball, basketball, tennis, swimming and track. My senior year I received 10+ offers to play football as a quarterback in college. I accepted an offer to play at Clarke University (D1 NAIA). During my time at Clarke, I started as a third string due to my size, but I was able to outperform two All-American QB's for the starting job.
I can help someone improve their game on multiple levels by starting with my personal approach to the athlete. I have a vast range of knowledge and the creativity to come up with multiple different approaches. For example, film break down. Not only can I physically train an athlete, I can mentally train and prepare them.
Start with communicating expectations and a breakdown of specifics that the athlete wants to work on. Next, warm up and stretch. After this, it all depends on the level of the athlete and what sport the athlete is doing. The bulk of sessions would be lifting, conditioning, and sport-specific movements. I would be open to also coaching up the mental part of the sport, like how to break down film, what to watch for, and how to take what is seen in the film into the next training session.
I have experience coaching; 8th grade football as a defensive coordinator, high school softball as a hitting/out-field coach, high school baseball as a head coach, and private training for football.
Lester Washington was my travel baseball coach and personal trainer for 6 years. Lester was the best coach I have had because of his personalized approach to everyone of his athletes. He always had the energy and juice to make you want to push yourself. Furthermore, Lester's ability to be non-judgemental and caring to me as his player, while also keeping high expectations is why I felt motivated to give my best. He always showed 110% that he wanted the best for me and expected me to give him everything I got, every single day.
I believe three of the biggest things athletes and parents should know about me include; my dedication, my personal approach and my honesty. My dedication to my athletes is second to none. I truly do want to see all my athletes reach their goals and potential, their goals almost become mine. If you/your son or daughter want to reach a specific goal, I will do everything in my power, on and off the clock, to make sure we meet that goal. My personal approach is tailored directly for the athlete. I can ensure that there are no "filler" parts in my sessions, meaning the time you spend with me will be a full hour of knowledge and work. Lastly, my honesty. I am very straightforward, but I add empathy within my coaching style. Furthermore, I will tell you exactly how it is, while being kind and respectful. I have a "tough-love" approach where I can be intense and have high-expectations, while having a humanistic approach to keep things fun and enjoyable.

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.
Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.
Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!
We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.
Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.
Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
The AU guarantee (refund policy) has you covered! If you determine the coach isn't a good fit after your first lesson, let us know within 24 hours and you're eligible for a refund. We will also be happy to recommend another coach - be sure to contact our support team.
