Why Train With Me?

Through training I have been able to go from 75 mph at 18 to 96mph at 23. I know what it takes to not be where you want and finding ways to improve. I am currently a Professional Pitcher playing for an Independent team in Idaho Falls I believe I am able to connect with any athlete at every age level. I am confident in my ability to help every athlete get 1% better in each session. I have a background in working with young athletes as well as highly skilled athletes at the college and pro level. I see every coaching encounter as equal and love the development process of becoming better!

Who is the best coach you ever had and why?
The best coach I ever had was the coaches at the Chapman compound because they love the idea of getting better and doing it the right way!
What should athletes and parents know about you?
I would like parents to know that I love the game of baseball and that’s the number one reason I want to coach and why I played at such a high level. I was never the strongest, tallest, or any of those things. Yet my love for the game pushed me to be very competitive at a high level.

Coaching Background

Summary of Coaching Background
I am currently a pitching coach and interning at the Chapman Baseball Compound in Irvine.
How can you help someone improve their game?
I can help player by going over mechanical deficiencies, creating throwing programs, creating lifting programs, working on the mental side of the game, and adding in a better routine for players.
What does a typical training session look like?
Every session is unique to the player but I like starting the session on on how they warm up and targeting points of improvement from that point on. Creating the best band and plyo routine, followed by a catch play routine or bullpen. I also make sure to incorporate a good post throw routine so the athlete can recover and be strong for their next throwing session.
