I began playing volleyball at age 12, joining a well-established and competitive team where I had to quickly close the gap in skill and experience. Through discipline, determination, and a deep passion for the sport, I steadily advanced, becoming a key player across Under-18, Third, Second, and First Division levels. As team captain, I led my squad to multiple regional championship victories. Seeking greater challenges, I was recruited by Polisportiva Città di Lendinara, where I competed in Serie D and helped secure the Northeast Italy Regional Championship. My primary position has always been middle blocker, but I also have experience playing as an opposite, adding versatility to my game.
I help athletes improve by first understanding their individual weaknesses and needs, then tailoring training to address both technical gaps and physical preparation. I believe true progress comes not just from drilling skills, but from building the strength and conditioning needed to support them. Just as important is the mental side—I take time to talk through emotions, fears, and performance anxiety, helping athletes grow in confidence and resilience both on and off the court.
A typical training session begins with a dynamic warm-up that includes running, cardio exercises, and core strengthening. We then move into ball-handling with fundamental drills, followed by focused technical work on specific elements like setting, attacking, blocking, or passing—depending on the training plan. The session wraps up with a scrimmage-style game to apply skills in real play, and we always end with stretching to support recovery and prevent injury.
As a head assistant coach, I’ve trained female teams from Under-12 to Under-14, focusing not only on developing technical skills and executing effective drills, but also on teaching the deeper meaning of being part of a team. I emphasize mutual support, collective strength, and the importance of building a team-first mentality from a young age—because in volleyball, unity and trust are just as vital as talent and technique.
The best coach I ever had was Patrizio Marzola, a Level 3 Italian coach who trained high-level teams like Serie B’s Città di Rovigo and the Beng Team. He led with a strict, almost patriarchal style that commanded respect and even a bit of fear—but beneath that, he was a visionary, incredibly knowledgeable, and surprisingly funny. Over time, I came to deeply appreciate not only his tactical brilliance but also his sharp sense of humor and the standards he set that shaped me as an athlete and person.
I'm deeply Italian and fiercely passionate about sport and competition—I believe that discipline, physical effort, patience, and determination are the foundation for growth and success. I teach that opportunities aren’t reserved for the most talented, but for those who show up, work hard, and stay committed to the process.

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.
Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.
Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!
We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.
Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.
Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
The AU guarantee (refund policy) has you covered! If you determine the coach isn't a good fit after your first lesson, let us know within 24 hours and you're eligible for a refund. We will also be happy to recommend another coach - be sure to contact our support team.
