I’m a former collegiate baseball pitcher who turned my passion for performance into a career in strength and conditioning. I began coaching as an assistant at the University of Alabama Huntsville before joining UCLA as a Graduate Assistant. I was later hired full-time as Head Strength and Conditioning Coach, where I helped the men’s water polo team win a national title and coached 20+ MLB draft picks on the baseball team.
I specialize in developing tailored programs that enhance strength, speed, and overall athletic performance. I also offer separate mental performance coaching to help athletes build focus, confidence, and resilience — because true success is both physical, mental, and spiritual
Physical Training:
I design sport-specific strength, speed, and conditioning programs that target the exact demands of your game. Whether your goal is to increase explosive power, improve acceleration, enhance endurance, or reduce injury risk, I build a plan that progresses with your skill level and schedule. Each program is individualized to meet your goals while maximizing performance on the field, court, or rink.
Mental Performance Coaching:
Separately, I offer mental performance coaching to help athletes improve focus, confidence, and resilience. Using proven strategies, I work with athletes to manage pressure, maintain consistency under stress, and develop the mindset of a high-level competitor. This training is optional and can be integrated independently from physical training.
Training with me depends on the option you choose:
Strength & Speed: Sessions focus on building functional strength, explosive power, and speed mechanics. Workouts include compound lifts, plyometrics, med ball work, sprint mechanics, and sport-specific movement patterns. Mobility and recovery strategies are also incorporated to keep athletes performing at their best.
Speed & Agility: These sessions prioritize acceleration, deceleration, change of direction, and quickness. Drills are tailored to your sport’s movement demands and designed to improve efficiency, reaction time, and overall athleticism.
Mental Performance Coaching: Focuses solely on mental skills such as focus, confidence, resilience, and stress management. Sessions include visualization, goal setting, and strategies to enhance consistency under pressure.
All programs are individualized and adaptable to your schedule and goals. Options can be added together to make the most individualized program for you.
I began my journey as a collegiate baseball pitcher, playing two years in junior college before completing my career at the University of Alabama Huntsville. My early coaching experience started with internships at UAH, Samford University, and Tinsley Performance, where I had the privilege of working with numerous professional athletes across multiple sports. I then served as an Assistant Performance Coach at UAH before joining UCLA as a Graduate Assistant Performance Coach. I was later promoted to Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at UCLA, where I helped the men’s water polo team win a national title and coached the baseball team, which included 20+ MLB draftees and 5+ current MLB players. Along the way, I worked with Athletes in Action, honing my mental performance coaching skills while supporting countless Division 1 athletes. Today, I run my own business, 48 Performance, where I work with athletes from youth to professional levels, helping them develop physically, mentally, and spiritually into resilient, well-rounded competitors.
The best coach I ever had was someone who prioritized developing me as a person of character over my on-field performance. They emphasized discipline, integrity, and accountability, teaching me that how I carried myself off the field was just as important as what I did on it. That mindset shaped the way I coach today — I aim to develop athletes not just as performers, but as people of character and resilience.
I am science-driven and intentional — we don’t do anything for fluff, but because it works. I make sure athletes understand why we are doing what we do so their development is purposeful.
I want every athlete to know their value doesn’t come from performance alone; when they internalize that, they’re freed to be better, more confident competitors. I emphasize both working hard and working smart, preparing athletes for success not just in sport, but in life. My goal is to equip athletes with the physical, mental, and spiritual tools they need to thrive, especially as they transition to the college level and beyond.

Meet your coach in-person or virtually, and start chasing down your goals!
If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.
Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.
Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!
We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.
Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.
Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
