Summary of Career and Accomplishments
I played collegiate basketball at Johns Hopkins University where I ended my career as the school's all-time leader in three pointers made, as well as in the Top 20 for nearly 20 categories. In my senior season, we had the best team in our school's history, finishing 25-5 and going to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament. Some accolades of my college career include:
Co-captain for the 2014-15 basketball season; 2014 Conference Champs; 2x NCAA Basketball Tournament (2014-15: Sweet 16); First Team All-Region; 2x First Team Academic All-District; 3x All-Conference (First Team - 2; Honorable Mention - 1); 2x Conference Academic Honor Roll
Who is the best coach you ever had and why?
Jim Fenerty. He was my high school basketball coach at Germantown Academy. He always pushed us to be the best we could be with great passion and intensity, not only on the court but off the court as well. He truly cared about us as people and always asked how we were doing. I believe this is even more important than on the court coaching.
What should athletes and parents know about you?
I love the game of basketball who is excited to help you take your game to the next level. Coaching Background
Summary of Coaching Background
Throughout my high school and college careers, I have coached at numerous basketball camps where the ages have ranged from 3rd grade to high school. I have also individually trained kids, who have asked, on a complimentary basis. Ideally, I would prefer to work with kids in the age range of middle school and older.
How can you help someone improve their game?
I know many drills for every aspect of the game and we can focus on the areas you want to improve. Most, if not all, of the drills are game situation type drills to make sure you are training at a level needed to be successful in the real situation.
What does a typical training session look like?
This will be completely client focused. We will focus on the parts of your game that you are looking to improve while also perfecting the fundamentals. I will be very engaging and look to push you in order to make you the best player you can be.
