Meet Coach Drew

Coach Drew Skundrich is a former professional soccer midfielder with extensive experience competing at elite levels in American soccer. After a standout collegiate career at Stanford University, where he was a team captain and First Team All-Pac-12 honoree, Drew built a long professional career in Major League Soccer (MLS) and the USL Championship before transitioning into coaching and athletic performance training.

Strength and Speed Background

Drew played four years at Stanford, making 82 appearances while scoring 9 goals and contributing 13 assists. Following college, he was selected in the second round (40th overall) of the 2018 MLS SuperDraft by the LA Galaxy and began his professional journey with USL and MLS teams including Bethlehem Steel, Sacramento Republic FC, D.C. United, Colorado Springs Switchbacks, and Loudoun United FC. Over his career he totaled more than 220 professional appearances across all competitions.

Drew served as captain for Loudoun United in his final seasons and helped lead the club to its first-ever playoff appearance before announcing his retirement from professional competition in late 2025. As he concluded his playing days, he also joined the Loudoun United technical staff as a Health and Performance Coach, bringing his experience on the pitch into coaching and athletic development.
