Sahuarita Track and Field: Speed, Mechanics, and Event Mastery

Track and Field in Sahuarita is about more than just running; it’s about “precision-movement” and “explosive-power.” Our program focuses on sprint mechanics, jumping technique, and the “pacing-strategy” needed for distance events. We help Sahuarita athletes turn their raw athleticism into “measurable-results,” ensuring they are ready to set personal records at every meet.

Sprint Mechanics and “Front-Side” Mechanics

To run fast, you have to run “clean.” We focus on “arm-action” (keeping the elbows at 90 degrees) and “high-knee-drive” to maximize power. By teaching “front-side mechanics,” we show athletes how to put force into the ground rather than “kicking-back” behind them. This “force-application” training helps Sahuarita sprinters get out of the blocks faster and maintain their top-end speed through the finish line.
