Our coach application and onboarding process is listed below:
Step 1 – Apply
- Go to https://athletesuntapped.com/apply
- Fill out the application form with your contact information and any relevant playing and/or coaching experience – this will not save to your profile, but our team uses the information during the application review process.
- After reading, check each box to agree to AU’s Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Coaches Agreement.
- When you are finished, click the “Apply” button at the bottom of the page.
Step 2 – Finish Onboarding
- Once you complete the 1-page application, you will be taken to your dashboard where you can complete the entire onboarding process. We require coaches to:
- From the Profile Tab – fill out every section of your profile. Be as detailed as possible!
- From the Account Tab – submit a background check. It’s a $10, non-refundable fee – and it’s the only upfront cost you incur for becoming a coach.
- From the Payments Tab – first, set your pricing options. This is what you will charge for lessons. Second, sync your information with Stripe. This is how you’ll receive payouts after each lesson.
- Note: please make sure you have the correct phone number & email tagged to your account. This is how you’ll receive notifications about new messages, upcoming session reminders, etc. You can also download our app – strongly suggested to do after onboarding – but it’s not required. The website works just as well.
We thoroughly review each application before a coach’s profile goes live on the site. When you are finished onboarding, please email our team to confirm: community@athletesuntapped.com. You’ll be hearing from us throughout the entire process, but it’s always helpful to receive confirmation!
