Gene and Elaine Williams founded Athletes Untapped to link aspiring athletes with vetted private coaches for one-on-one training. As former college athletes and private coaches, they loved mentoring kids but noticed a lack of tools for coaches to grow their reach. Inspired by platforms like Airbnb and Rover, they built AU to empower coaches and transform young athletes’ lives. Backed by their experience in tech and sports, Gene and Elaine aim to expand access to impactful coaching that helps young athletes excel both on and off the field.
Through private soccer training, Athletes Untapped coaches focus on building skills like footwork, ball control, and overall fitness. With a tailored approach, players learn to anticipate plays, improve decision-making, and develop their game. Many of our experienced coaches credit private lessons in their youth for shaping their careers, and they bring that same dedication to helping athletes achieve their soccer goals.
