Until playing my first professional soccer game, I have put in thousands of hours of practice on the field and in the lift room. Yet, it was one of the worst games I have ever played. I'm certain my body was completely ready for this level. While physically I was the player I wanted to be, I realized that it was my mind that failed me. Today, my mission is to provide young athletes with the mental skills I did not have when I needed them the most. I went and pursued a master's degree at Florida State University, where I was able to learn from the world's experts in the field of sport psychology. I have worked with division 1 college, high school, and elite youth athletes. I am looking forward to connecting with you soon and discussing the best course possible for you to tap your potential!

About Me:

I played professional soccer in Israel for 2 years. In 2018 I moved to the United States to play division 2 soccer at Franklin Pierce University (NH), where we won the conference and were nationally ranked 3 years in a row.

How I can help you improve your game:

PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT!

I believe that psychological skills are just as important as (if not more important than) physical skills. It doesn't matter how fast or technical you are, if you cannot organize your mind and let your body do what you trained it to do, you will never reach your potential. I believe in treating the athlete's mind just like any physical or technical skill. That means that... practice makes perfect! In order to improve mental skills, an athlete must practice those skills. While I teach and provide the athlete with an individualized state-of-the-art mental skills training program, it is the athlete responsibility to train those skills on their free time, integrate them into practice, and apply them in games. Of course we will build together a step-by-step plan for how to do so! Once an athlete is committing to the mental skills training, the exponential growth on and off the field is just a matter of time.

What a typical training session looks like with me:

A typical session takes 45-60 minutes on Zoom. We will learn and practice mental skills in each session. When possible, we can meet on the playing field for an outdoor session in which we work on applying the mental skills we learned in previous sessions for practice and ultimately game environments.

Career summary and accomplishments:

While I played soccer for the majority of my life, I have experience working as a mental performance coach with athletes from variety of sports, such as tennis, golf, basketball, baseball, track and field, and more.

The best coach I have had was Coach Resendes in Franklin Pierce. He knew how to manage a team on the interpersonal level in a confident and calm way. I learned a lot from him about being an effective leader who always puts the team first.

What athletes and parents should know about me:

I currently live in Boston with my fiancée Emma. I also work as a director of wellness at a non-profit in Boston University and support college students in their academic and professional endeavors.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.

Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!

We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.

Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.

Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.

The AU guarantee (refund policy) has you covered! If you determine the coach isn't a good fit after your first lesson, let us know within 24 hours and you're eligible for a refund. We will also be happy to recommend another coach - be sure to contact our support team.
