I started playing soccer at the age of 5 and continued to play through out my youth and adult years until the age of 28.
My highlights were playing for the German team Arminia Bielefeld in the 3rd German league and playing for the student soccer national team of Germany :)
During my youth time i also did 4 years of field and track which equipped me with additional skills and experience!

What Does a Typical Training Session Look Like?
A typical 1:1 training session is designed to focus intensively on one key aspect of your game within a 45-60 minute timeframe. Here’s what you can expect:
1. Warm-Up (10 minutes):
• Dynamic stretching and light cardio to prepare your body.
• Ball control exercises to get you ready for the session.
2. Focused Training (25-30 minutes):
• Each session targets one specific aspect such as skill drills, tactical training, or physical conditioning.
• For example:
• Skill Drills: Intensive exercises to enhance dribbling, passing, shooting, or defending.
• Tactical Training: Strategies and decision-making exercises to improve game understanding.
• Physical Conditioning: Workouts to boost endurance, speed, agility, and strength.
3. Application (10-15 minutes):
• Applying the focused aspect in game-like scenarios.
• Position-specific strategies and drills.
4. Cool Down (5-10 minutes):
• Static stretching to aid recovery and prevent injury.
• Reflective discussion on the session’s progress and feedback for continuous improvement.
Each session is customized to target a specific area, ensuring a focused and effective approach to enhancing your overall game. Unless you specifically only want to improve one key aspect of your game, than I would tailor the sessions towards that.
Coaching experience in little league to start my coaching journey. Experience with the German soccer association as a coach to teach other teachers how to best coach soccer at school. Being a middle and high school teacher and coaching the middle school soccer team gave me a lot of experience with various age groups and their unique needs.
My best coach was my Soccer Coach in Germany, he had great tactical skills but was also a great person with important interpersonal skills. I believe interpersonal skills are as important as the tactical and technical skills to transfer the information in the best possible way.
Besides my personal soccer and athletic experience (track and field, swimming and waterpolo) and my passion for sport, I have a bachelors and master’s degree in education, sports and biology. Sport has been part of my whole life and besides coaching different teams I have taught sports in the school setting for many years. I enjoy sharing my passion for soccer and sports in general and hope to help YOU to be the best athlete YOU can be!

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.
Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.
Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!
We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.
Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.
Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
