Who is the best coach you ever had and why?
Jim Turley who was my coach in all 4 years of my college experience is the best coach I have had in my career. This is due to the fact that he clearly understands my weaknesses, and communicates very clearly on how to get to where I wanted to be.
What should athletes and parents know about you?
I am a very patient person and strive to meet the needs of the kids I work with and have a clear communication with the parents on everything that involves their child.

Coaching Background

Summary of Coaching Background
I have taught Private tennis lessons since 2019 working with players ranging from 5 to 20 years old. I also have some experience working with adults.
How can you help someone improve their game?
I focus on technical and tactical aspects of the game but most importantly, giving them a better understanding of why they are doing the things I ask them to do so that they can take these skills with them in the future.
What does a typical training session look like?
I begin the lesson with clearly outlining the lesson and what is going to be worked on. We then begin a 5 minute warm up routine, and proceed with the lesson. I separate lessons into three 20 minute increments (Assuming it is an hour) and each of those 20 minutes I tackle one important aspect of the game. I like to give the kids a better understanding at a slower pace, rather than throwing too many things at them. I then end off the lesson with a fun game.
