Training with me means learning from someone who has not only excelled in lacrosse but also understands how to teach the game to players of all ages and skill levels. I started playing lacrosse in 8th grade and quickly progressed, making the varsity team at Oviedo High School as a freshman, later being named a captain my Junior and Senior year. My dedication led me to compete at the collegiate level with Division 2 NCAA lacrosse at Flagler College, where I honed my skills and game strategy. Beyond college, I've had the honor of representing Team Jamaica in several world championships around the globe, gaining invaluable experience in high-pressure situations under some of the best coaches in the world. With this background, I offer a unique perspective on skill development and the mental aspects of the game. My training sessions are dynamic, focusing on both fundamentals and advanced techniques tailored to the specific goals of each player. I am 100% committed to helping players at various levels unlock their potential and elevate their performance on the field.

I started playing lacrosse in the eighth grade, played four years of Varsity lacrosse at Oviedo High School, was named a captain Junior and Senior Year, and was recruited to play NCAA Division 2 lacrosse at Flagler College. Throughout college, I played against some of the best teams in the nation in the Spring and in the Summer, I was competing with Jamaica's Men's National Lacrosse Team in World Lacrosse Championships around the world. I competed in the 2022 U21 World Lacrosse Championships in Limerick, Ireland, the 2023 Men's World Lacrosse Championships in San Diego, California, the 2023 PALA Sixes Cup in Kingston Jamaica, and the 2024 World Box Lacrosse Championships in Utica, New York.
I can not only offer the advice that I was given by some of the best coaches in the world, but I can also offer personal advice that I have seen work first hand. I can watch film on the athlete with the athlete to show them their improvement so that they can develop a connection with their muscle memory and the film to focus on emulating the most perfect reps, every rep. Agility drills on the ladder and shooting drills with cones will help the athlete develop quick feet and improve their hand-eye coordination while understanding how the drill will translate to the game. The sessions will make the games seem easier since the athlete will have worked on their weaknesses in their game to the point where they became strengths.
A typical training session for an offensive player consists of ladder and cone drills for agility training after stretching and dynamic warm up, stationary shooting drills transitioning into on the run shooting with hitches, split dodges, and rolls with their strong and off hand at different angles around the goal. After shooting on the run from outside, the athlete will perform the same dodges, this time feeding to an open man then cutting to the goal for a pass to finish inside. They will do this with both hands at both sides of the goal as well as from behind the goal. After shooting drills, I will have the athlete freestyle their own combination of moves, cutting through an imaginary defense, finishing with a shot on goal, completing ten push ups for any shot that misses before the next rep. I will take this time to offer advice on game-like scenarios that they will see and teach them how to identify and capitalize on mistakes that the other team may make. The session will conclude with a ten-minute conditioning segment that will help the athlete develop muscle memory performing lacrosse specific movements with the stick when they're tired.
I began my coaching career as an assistant coach for the Club of Oviedo Lacrosse U8 team who competed in the Summer Faceoff Tournament at Championsgate, FL. I was also a volunteer assistant coach for The Villages Lacrosse Club in Palm Coast, FL. I helped lead practices for the U8 age groups and offered stick stringing services on top of coaching.
The best coach I ever had is two-time All-American, 10-year NLL and MLL veteran, Brian Silcott. He emphasized the importance of practicing with intensity and putting into the game what you want to get out of it. He was able to teach the fundamentals as well as explain the proper thought processes in different situations on the field. He had a great sense of humor, praised hard work, and never became frustrated with players who could not understand certain concepts of the sport as quickly as others. I have adopted tons of his coaching methods because I saw how his advice translated to the field and he helped me take my game to an entirely new level while also teaching me life lessons through the sport of lacrosse.
I want athletes and parents to know that I am truly committed to ensuring that the athlete improves after every session and can see their improvement during games. I'm a coach that can demonstrate proper technique and break down the proper thought processes for various in-game situations. I played several sports growing up which has given me the ability to teach the game with examples from other sports that share similarities in technique or strategy. I also offer stick stringing services and run a stringing account on Instagram (@Pocketlocs).
