About Me:

I started playing volleyball when I was 9 years old at my local YMCA, played my first club season at 11 years old, and played up until my junior year of college. Since the beginning of my club career, I have been on the top travel team and had the incredible opportunity to compete against some of the top teams in the country before I went on to play in college. For my collegiate career, I played at Cornell College as a middle/right side. Unfortunately I was only able to play my first 3 years as I had a knee injury that prevented me from playing my senior season, however, I was lucky enough to be the team manager my senior season so I could still be involved in the program. Growing up as a student-athlete, I have always placed high importance on the student aspect, and during my time at Cornell I was on the academic all district team and the provosts list each semester. Now that I have graduated, I am striving to spread my love for the game of volleyball, and constantly better myself as a coach to have a positive lasting impact on aspiring athletes!

How I can help you improve your game:

To help someone improve their volleyball game, I focus on building strong fundamentals, improving athleticism, and developing a confident mindset. I work on essential skills like passing, setting, hitting, and serving, making sure movements are smooth and efficient. Speed, strength, and endurance are just as important, so I incorporate drills to improve quickness, jumping ability, and overall fitness. Beyond the physical game, I help athletes think smarter on the court—teaching them how to read plays, make quick decisions, and stay mentally strong under pressure. By combining skill development, physical training, and a winning mindset, I help players gain confidence and take their game to the next level.

What a typical training session looks like with me:

I always start my training sessions with talking about goals for the lesson and what we want to work on that day (if there is anything specific) before we stretch and get warmed up. After warmup, we will spend about half of our time together working on skill development (ex: working on arm swing, footwork, and shot selections for hitting) and the other half of our time putting those skills into play with game like scenarios or drills that will focus on those skills.

I love to have a ton of fun in my coaching sessions, and hopefully inspire my athletes to love the game of volleyball as much as I do!

Career summary and accomplishments:

As a recent college graduate, I have just started my coaching career! I spent my senior year of college as the volleyball team manager where I got to see first hand what all goes in to being a volleyball coach at that elite level, and I instantly knew that I wanted to start coaching as soon as I could. I am currently a youth coach at Prime Volleyball Academy, leading their youth development program, and working on expending my coaching knowledge every day to be the best coach I can be!

Best coach I ever had:

The best volleyball coach I ever had was my 14's club coach not only because of the way she coached me, but also because she was an incredible mentor and had such a positive impact on my life. She pushed me beyond my limits, fine-tuning my technique while instilling confidence and discipline. Her attention to detail, strategic mindset, and ability to break down complex skills made learning both challenging and exciting. More than just improving my game, she inspired a relentless work ethic and a love for the sport that still drives me today as I further my coaching career!

What athletes and parents should know about me:

I want to tell you a little bit more about me, outside of playing and coaching volleyball!

I graduated from Cornell College in May with my bachelors degree in business management and psychology and I came back to the beautiful state of Colorado to open my own business as a professional organizer! When I am not working or coaching, I love to run, read, cook, travel, spend time with friends and family, and adventure with my dog Osa.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.

Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!

We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.

Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.

Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.

The AU guarantee (refund policy) has you covered! If you determine the coach isn't a good fit after your first lesson, let us know within 24 hours and you're eligible for a refund. We will also be happy to recommend another coach - be sure to contact our support team.

Our coaches are open to helping athletes of any age and skill level. Please message your desired coach to ensure their skillset fits your needs.

AU was created by former collegiate and professional athletes. We understand the benefits of training with a private coach. It develops discipline, boosts confidence, and provides an undeniable advantage - whether you are just learning the game or looking to earn a college scholarship. All AU coaches are required to pass a thorough onboarding process and we proudly showcase a 10% acceptance rate, so you can trust you're training with the best.

At the end of the day, our mission is to provide athletes with better opportunities to succeed through coaching. You won't find a platform, and group of dedicated specialists, more excited to help you achieve your athletic goals!
