I view mental performance as a key aspect in optimizing your athletic potential. By learning skills to enhance your focus, manage your energy, and guide your training, you can take your performance on the field from good to great without breaking a sweat. After 2 years of training with D1 athletes throughout Boston, I received certification by the Association of Applied Sport Psychology. I use evidenced-based practices which are widely used from collegiate to Olympic athletes.

I am a former DI equestrian athlete at Dartmouth college. The highest points in my college career were going with my team to regionals as a freshman, and qualifying as an individual my junior year. Despite the amazing times I had, I also experienced numerous setbacks such as injuries, coaching changes, and the COVID-19 pandemic. These experiences, though difficult at the time, showed me that the power of sport is not limited to the times when you win, but instead comes from the lessons you learn when it feels like everything has gone wrong. I feel most proud of myself for coming back senior year and despite not being able to compete, supporting my team in developing the bonds and relationships which lasted for years after I graduated
Mental performance coaching is like strength training for your mind. Just like every athlete has to cross-train their body to get the most out of it in every competition, the same can be done for your mind. Even if you feel you are at the top of your game, there are always tools that we can add to your tool box to make the next obstacle you face that much easier to overcome. And for the times when it feels like nothing is going right, it is my job to support you in putting the pieces back together, setting new goals, and helping you to start to feel like the athlete that you want to be.
I begin my work with every athlete with a comprehensive assessment which allows me to get a complete understanding of each individual's needs and strengths. Every session is athlete led so we address the issues that are most on your mind be it anxiety about an upcoming match, frustration about not getting playing time, or difficulties coming back from an injury. In the end, my goal is for you to leave every session confident about your skills and with an action item that you can work on by yourself to continue the progress we make in session back on your field of play.
Throughout my time at Boston University, I worked with athletes from a variety of levels. From supporting high schoolers using strength and conditioning to improve their mental health, to working with a DI tennis team from start to finish of a season, I have experience helping athletes at all levels achieve the goals that they want for themselves. These experiences have shown me that more often than not, an athlete has more in them than is being shown through competition, its simply that their mind is getting in the way of them achieving that peak performance. Since graduating, I have obtained my CMPC licensure from the Association of Applied Sport Psychology, allowing me to now work with atheltes in a private practice setting.
My best coach was my college riding coach. She showed me that anything is possible with determination and self-belief. In an individual sport like riding, it often times felt like I was going at it alone, competing for a team but against my teammates at the same time. My college coach showed me that both can exist at the same time. You can want to be the best individual athlete that you can be, and cheer on your teammates at the same time; your success is reliant on your own power not on another's weakness.
As a certified mental performance consultant (CMPC), I am trained to apply evidenced-based practices to each individuals circumstance. There is no "one size fits all" for mental performance as every person responds differently to the world. By building an individual coach plan for each athlete, our work together adapts as the athlete grows, leading them to reaching their peak performance. While the idea of training your mind might feel uncomfortable or strange, it is important to remember that often times the mind can be our biggest weapon and the difference between two athletes who have the same power and strength and skills is going to be who has the stronger mind.

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.
Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.
Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!
We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.
Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.
Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
The AU guarantee (refund policy) has you covered! If you determine the coach isn't a good fit after your first lesson, let us know within 24 hours and you're eligible for a refund. We will also be happy to recommend another coach - be sure to contact our support team.
Our coaches are open to helping athletes of any age and skill level. Please message your desired coach to ensure their skillset fits your needs.
