Hi, I’m Mikayla A mother former Division I track and field athlete and coach passionate about helping All athletes build strong foundations through running. No matter what sport your child plays, speed, endurance, and proper movement fundamentals are the basis of all athletics.
I work with athletes across sports to improve running mechanics, conditioning, confidence, and mental control. My training goes beyond physical performance we also focus on building confidence and learning techniques to manage anxiety, helping athletes stay calm, focused, and prepared under pressure.
Whether your child is in track, football, basketball, soccer, or just beginning their athletic journey, my goal is to help them move better, feel stronger, and compete with confidence on the field, track, and in life.
I help track & field athletes improve by developing sound mechanics, endurance, confidence, and mental control, so they can perform consistently across practices, races, and seasons.

A training session with Mikayla is intentionally structured to support both skill development and mental confidence, creating an environment where athletes feel safe, focused, and empowered.
Each session begins with a brief check-in and grounding warm-up, allowing athletes to reset mentally and physically. We establish clear goals for the session so athletes know what they are working toward, which helps reduce anxiety and increase confidence.
Training then moves into fundamental skill development, where techniques are broken down step-by-step. Athletes are taught not only what to do, but why it matters, helping them gain trust in their abilities and decision-making. Drills are designed to be progressive, ensuring early success before advancing to higher-level challenges.
Throughout the session, we actively work on:
• Confidence-building through repetition and positive reinforcement
• Breathing and focus techniques to manage nerves and performance anxiety
• Emotional regulation strategies that help athletes stay calm under pressure
• Mental resets after mistakes to prevent frustration or shutdown
Sessions conclude with a cool-down and reflection, where athletes acknowledge progress, reinforce self-belief, and learn tools they can use during competition, school, or everyday life.
The goal of every session is for athletes to leave feeling:
• More confident
• More in control of their emotions
• Better equipped to handle pressure
• Supported as both an athlete and a person

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!
We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.
Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section.
