I focus on building a strong foundation in baseball fundamentals, tailored to each athlete's strengths and areas for growth. Whether it’s refining pitching mechanics, improving fielding techniques, or developing confidence at the plate, I provide personalized drills and feedback to help players elevate their performance. My goal is to make every session engaging, productive, and geared toward measurable progress. With a focus on understanding the game’s nuances and cultivating mental toughness, I aim to help athletes not only improve their skills but also gain a deeper love and respect for the sport.
A typical training session begins with a proper warm-up to loosen up muscles, improve flexibility, and prevent injuries. From there, we focus on the athlete’s specific needs, whether it’s pitching mechanics, hitting techniques, or fielding fundamentals. I tailor each session to address their goals, using drills and exercises designed to build strength, accuracy, and confidence. Throughout the session, I provide real-time feedback and encouragement to ensure continuous improvement. We wrap up with a brief recap, focusing on progress made and areas to work on, so each session feels productive and motivating.
My coaching journey began in my neighborhood, where I worked with younger kids to teach them the fundamentals of baseball. From running drills to offering guidance on hitting, fielding, and pitching, I took pride in helping them improve their skills and gain confidence in the game. While I don’t have formal coaching experience, those years gave me invaluable insight into mentoring and connecting with athletes of all levels. My approach emphasizes patience, encouragement, and creating a positive environment where players can learn and grow.
My dad was not only the best coach I ever had but also the person who instilled in me a deep love for the game. He spent countless hours playing catch, letting me pitch to him, and hitting ground balls during my childhood, always providing guidance and encouragement. His dedication taught me both the fundamentals of baseball and the joy it brings.
Baseball has been a central part of my life, largely thanks to my father, who was not only my first coach but also my greatest mentor. He taught me how to play the game and, more importantly, how to love it. From endless hours of playing catch to pitching and fielding drills, he instilled in me the values of hard work, passion, and perseverance.
However, my passion for the game was tested as my sophomore year finished, that test is ultimately what led to me quitting going into my senior year. After an undefeated 24-0 season, our team faced disappointment when we didn’t win the final game by enough runs to meet the coaches’ expectations. That experience taught me what I think is the most important lesson of all: baseball is first and foremost a game, and the love and passion for it should always be the priority. That being said, I do believe that effort counts, but results matter. I think there is a balance that can be struck-where you can push yourself to reach your highest potential while still being able to maintain your passion and love for the game.
This experience has shaped my approach as a coach. I believe that when athletes keep the love of the game alive, the progress will follow. My focus is on fostering that passion in every player, helping them improve their skills while enjoying the journey. Ultimately, it’s about developing both a love for baseball and a mindset that will lead to success on and off the field.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!
We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.
Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.
Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
The AU guarantee (refund policy) has you covered! If you determine the coach isn't a good fit after your first lesson, let us know within 24 hours and you're eligible for a refund. We will also be happy to recommend another coach - be sure to contact our support team.
