Who is the best coach you ever had and why?
The best coach I've had was Coach Richard Fisher. He's currently an assistant coach at Michigan State University and had the honor and privilege to coach his athlete in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. He's the greatest coach I've ever had because not only was he a coach he was a mentor to me. Teaching me everything I know and urging me to always learn and continue to evolve as a coach. He's an incredible friend, mentor and coach and has had the biggest influence on me and my coaching career.
What should athletes and parents know about you?
What athletes and parents should know about me is that I am extremely serious about the art of coaching but also I am super fun and love to have a good time training athletes. I'm young and ratable to todays athletes and I've been through the path their on and know what it takes to achieve ultimate success. Parents and athletes should also know I will always put my best foot forward and I expect the same in return. There's nothing I want more than the success of young athletes and I believe in this sport, this is what separates the good from the great. I have advance level coaching techniques and trainings, but everything is easy to grasp and understand. I am fully transparent and open with my training! I look forward to meeting and training you all!

Coaching Background

Summary of Coaching Background
I've actually started my coaching career while in college during the summer. I coached AAU/USATF summer track and field until I graduated college. From there I joined up with my former coach and trainer, coaching as a volunteer at a high school. The following year I became the head coach and have had such great success from the beginning. I've had multiple state champions, national record holders, national champions, and numerous amounts of athletes finish with great progress and improvement.
How can you help someone improve their game?
There's no one answer for all but I would focus on the strengths and weaknesses of the athletes and why they seek private training. From there I can accurately tailor training sessions to meet their needs and to have ultimate success in this sport. There's specific workouts/training that can target precise areas of sprinting and strength training. What coaches often miss is when to do these workouts and how to execute the timing of the training sessions to maximize results.
What does a typical training session look like?
A typical training session would consist of a dynamic warmup, followed by specific drills that emulate sprinting in various ways. Next the bulk of the training would be the workout for that session. Whether it's tempo, max velocity, lactic buildup training etc.. After that would consist of a cool down from the hard work and then into the strength portion. That could be body weight plyometrics, explosive drills, weighted equipment etc.. Lastly would be targeting the core muscles and training that area intensively for a short period of time to close out the training session. However, that's a typical session but all sessions would be catered to the need of the athletes and what they need the private coaching for.
