I have experience working with athletes ranging from young kids to college-level players, helping them develop their football skills and overall athletic performance. As a current Division I football player, I bring firsthand knowledge of high-level training, techniques, and game strategies. I have worked with athletes in various age groups, focusing on skill development, strength, and conditioning. My coaching experience includes mentoring younger athletes, providing position-specific training, and helping them improve their football IQ. I understand what it takes to compete at a high level and enjoy passing that knowledge on to the next generation. While I do not currently hold industry certifications, my experience as a college athlete has given me deep insight into effective training methods and the dedication required to succeed in football.

I am a Division I football starter who has competed at Central Michigan University, Idaho State, and Sacramento State. Throughout my career, I have played against elite programs such as Penn State, Oklahoma State, and Oregon State, gaining valuable experience at the highest collegiate level. With years of dedication to the sport, I have developed a deep understanding of the game, competing alongside and against some of the best athletes in college football. My journey through multiple programs has exposed me to different coaching styles, strategies, and team cultures, enhancing my adaptability and football IQ. Competing at this level has not only refined my skills but also given me firsthand insight into what it takes to succeed in football, both physically and mentally, making me a knowledgeable mentor for aspiring athletes.
Success as an athlete and a person comes down to consistent development in key areas like work ethic, discipline, mental toughness, and coachability. Talent alone isn’t enough—you need the drive to improve daily, stay focused under pressure, and be open to learning. Strong fundamentals, preparation, and teamwork are just as important as physical skills. As a coach, I help athletes improve by identifying their strengths and weaknesses, creating personalized training plans, and developing their game IQ. I emphasize mental conditioning, leadership, and accountability, ensuring they grow not just as players but as individuals ready for success in any challenge they face.
A typical training session is structured to develop both physical and mental aspects of the game. It begins with a dynamic warm-up to increase mobility and prevent injuries. Position-specific drills follow, focusing on techniques like footwork, hand placement, route running, or tackling, depending on the athlete’s role. Team drills emphasize communication, execution, and situational awareness. Mental preparation includes film study, decision-making exercises, and breakdowns of game scenarios to improve football IQ. Conditioning is incorporated throughout, with speed, agility, and endurance work to build stamina and explosiveness. Each session is designed to enhance skills, strategy, and overall performance.

The best coach I ever had was Coach Daniels. He wasn’t just a coach—he was a mentor, a leader, and someone who genuinely cared about his players. He had a way of pushing you to your limits without breaking you, making you believe you were capable of more than you thought.
Coach Daniels didn’t just focus on football; he focused on building character. He taught discipline, responsibility, and how to handle both victory and defeat with class. He had a saying: “Tough times don’t last, but tough people do.” That stuck with me, not just in sports but in life.
He had an eye for potential. He saw what players could become, even when they didn’t see it themselves. I remember one game when I was struggling, making mistake after mistake. Instead of pulling me out, he pulled me aside. “Shake it off,” he said. “You’ve got one more play in you. Make it count.” I did—and that play changed the game.
As a coach, athletes and parents should know that I am committed to developing not just great players, but great people. My coaching philosophy is built on discipline, hard work, and respect—both on and off the field.
For athletes: I expect effort, accountability, and a willingness to learn. Talent is important, but attitude and work ethic matter more. I will push you to be your best, challenge you to grow, and support you every step of the way.

After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.
Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!
We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.
Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.
Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
The AU guarantee (refund policy) has you covered! If you determine the coach isn't a good fit after your first lesson, let us know within 24 hours and you're eligible for a refund. We will also be happy to recommend another coach - be sure to contact our support team.
