Why Train With Me?

As a retired collegiate athlete and now collegiate assistant coach, I bring a wealth of experience from playing my entire life, including attending the national tournament in college and winning two state championships in high school. My journey attending an out-of-state college pushed me to grow and spread my wings, equipping me with the resilience and adaptability I now pass on to my athletes. Additionally, as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor in training, I possess skills to support your mental approach to the game. I understand the importance of a strong mindset in achieving peak performance, and I am committed to helping you build the mental toughness, confidence, and overall self-efficacy needed to excel both on and off the field. Llet’s find ways, together, to build your game up and grow your capabilities as an athlete!

Athletic Background

Summary of Career and Accomplishments
Growing up I played for multiple successful club teams which helped shape the player and coach I am today. While in high school my team was 2x state champions. I continued on to play the game at the collegiate level where I was a starter, gathered a variety of accomplishments and personal accolades. Most importantly, life-long impacting opportunities, experiences, and relationships!
Who is the best coach you ever had and why?
What should athletes and parents know about you?
I value each client as an individual! Every client is different so needs will vary. I will respect our time together so it is important to me that both the athlete (and their parents) and I are on the same page for what our goals and objectives are. I have worked with a variety of ages and within my education and training to become a CMHC I have obtained valuable skills in connecting and achieveing personalized results in a way that works with each individual.

Coaching Background

Summary of Coaching Background
Currently, I am an assistant coach at Concordia University. I will be going into my third season this upcoming year! Currently, I specifically work with our outfielders and help with our hitting. I have a niche in working with our athletes to build their speed on the field and their mental approach to the game. Additionally, I have prior experience in being an assistant coach over the summers while in college, and additionally as a private hitting and fielding coach!
How can you help someone improve their game?
In order to be able to help an athlete grow I have to understand where they are and where they want to be. Every athlete is in a different place in life and on the field, both mentally and physically. For many sports, but especially softball (a game of failure) the game heavily relies on our mental approach. I help individuals by working with them and finding ways for us to elevate their game together- both athletically and mentallly.
What does a typical training session look like?
Training varies for each client and what they are looking for! Whether you want to train within offense, defense, or your mental approach. If you are not sure if I am the right coach/mentor for you feel free to reach out and we can set up an intake session (30 minutes) to chat, ask questions, and get to know each other!
