About Me:

**Career Accomplishments**

With 23 years of combined basketball 🏀 and football 🏈 knowledge, I bring a lifetime of passion and experience to coaching and training. I played 13 years of conventional basketball and 7 years of conventional football, later transitioning to coaching youth basketball (3 years) and youth tackle football (2 years).

I have 10 years of strength training expertise and 4 years of experience as a personal trainer, working both online and in person. As a proud U.S. Army veteran, I served my country and returned home to be a present father, dedicated to supporting my kids’ sports journeys and inspiring others to achieve their goals.

We’ll hit strength training to build power and endurance, then focus on mental toughness and resilience. The session ends with a cool-down and goal-setting for continued progress. We work hard, stay focused, and have fun while improving every step of the way! 🚀

With 9 years of coaching experience, I’ve successfully led youth basketball teams to 1st place and runner-up finishes, and as an assistant football coach, I helped our team reach the TYFA playoffs every year. My coaching focuses on building resilience, skill development, and team character. As a personal trainer, I’ve worked with hundreds of clients, from athletes to office workers, helping them achieve their physical goals and transform their mindset. My approach is centered on creating lasting change, empowering individuals to become the best versions of themselves both physically and mentally.

The best coach I ever had was Coach Jackson, a former military veteran with a deep understanding of both sports and discipline. His 20+ years of experience in basketball and football made him an expert at breaking down complex skills and making them accessible. He not only focused on improving physical performance but also instilled a mindset of resilience, teamwork, and leadership. Coach Jackson's approach was never about taking shortcuts—he demanded excellence, but always with the understanding that life’s balance was just as important. His guidance shaped not only my athletic abilities but my character, and I carry his lessons with me every day.

I’m not just about training hard; I’m about training smart and building well-rounded athletes. I’ve had the privilege of playing and coaching basketball and football, so I truly understand the dedication required to excel in both individual skills and team dynamics. But beyond the games and the workouts, I believe in the power of discipline, resilience, and having fun along the way.

As a coach, I’m all about creating a supportive, positive environment where athletes feel empowered to push their limits and grow. I’ve walked the path myself and now focus on guiding others to do the same—whether it’s in sports, strength training, or in life. Above all, I’m a father who knows the importance of being present and supportive in my kids’ journey, and I’m committed to bringing that same energy to every athlete I work with. Frequently Asked Questions

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.

Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!

We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.

Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.

Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.

The AU guarantee (refund policy) has you covered! If you determine the coach isn't a good fit after your first lesson, let us know within 24 hours and you're eligible for a refund. We will also be happy to recommend another coach - be sure to contact our support team.
