I earned both Division One and Division Two athletic scholarships for football, playing as a wide receiver at the University of Idaho and Northern State University during my collegiate career. At Northern State, I set the single-season reception record with a 93% catch rate and earned NSIC First-Team honors. I was also recognized on the University of Idaho Athletic Director's Honor Roll and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Master's in Exercise Science.
As a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) with current CPR/AED certifications, I have applied my knowledge in designing and implementing a successful 8-week plyometric training intervention for college-level athletes. This program led to a 12% improvement in 10-meter sprint acceleration.
I believe that improving an athlete’s game requires a holistic, tailored approach that combines physical development, technical skills, mental conditioning, and game strategy. My coaching philosophy centers on understanding each individual’s unique strengths, weaknesses, and goals, then designing a structured plan to maximize their potential.
1. Personalized Training Programs: I create progressive, sport-specific training plans that focus on building strength, speed, power, and agility. Through plyometrics, resistance training, and conditioning, I help athletes improve their physical capabilities, ensuring they are prepared for the demands of their sport.

This reduces the risk of injury while improving overall performance. Whether it’s running mechanics, agility drills, or Olympic lifting, I emphasize correct technique to maximize effectiveness.
3. Mental Preparation and Focus: Success on the field is as much about mental resilience as it is about physical ability. I teach athletes visualization techniques, mindfulness, and focus drills to improve their concentration, reduce game-day anxiety, and enhance decision-making under pressure.
4. Tactical Awareness: I work with athletes to improve their understanding of game strategy, positioning, and decision-making. By analyzing game film and running situational drills, I ensure they develop a keen sense of the game, enabling them to make smarter decisions and anticipate opponents' moves.
5. Motivation and Accountability: I believe in fostering a positive and motivating environment where athletes are encouraged to push their limits while staying committed to their goals. I provide ongoing feedback and track progress to maintain motivation and ensure athletes stay focused on their long-term development.
6. Injury Prevention and Recovery: I emphasize the importance of injury prevention through proper warm-ups, mobility work, and recovery strategies. By teaching athletes how to take care of their bodies and prioritize recovery, I ensure they can perform at their best, season after season.

I focus on full-body workouts with a push-and-pull structure, emphasizing both bilateral and unilateral development to maximize overall strength and movement efficiency.
Strength & Conditioning Youth Camp (Aberdeen, SD): Coached 20 children aged 10-14, focusing on technique, agility, plyometrics, and running mechanics. Led dynamic warm-ups and field drills in a safe, fun environment. Graduate Assistantship at Northern State University (Aberdeen, SD): Lead strength coach for Men’s Baseball and Women’s Soccer; assisted with Football, Track and Field, Volleyball, and Wrestling. Designed workout regimens, managed return-to-play protocols, and utilized Polar GPS tracking and RepOne velocity-based training equipment. Varsity Football Experience: Played at both Northern State University and the University of Idaho, excelling academically while balancing athletics and representing the institutions in community and athletic events. Snap Fitness Internship (Moscow, ID): Oversaw floor safety, shadowed a personal trainer, and assisted with gym operations. Completed 360 supervised hours. Teton High School Strength and Conditioning Practicum (Driggs, ID): Taught warm-ups and conditioning circuits for athletes aged 14-18, and demonstrated Olympic lifts while addressing athletes' questions.
The best coach I ever had was Luther Ellis at the University of Idaho. He held every player to the same high standard, and that consistency never wavered. His toughness came from his belief in our potential and his desire to help us unlock it, pushing us to become the best versions of ourselves both on and off the field. Coach Ellis didn’t just prepare us for the physical challenges of the game; he also instilled valuable life lessons that have stayed with me. A man of faith, he spread positivity through constructive criticism, always striving to uplift and guide us toward success.

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.
Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.
Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!
We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.
Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.
Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
