About Me:

I played in Mexico professionally on a second string with a team named Cholos de Tijuana which are now playing in the first division LIGA MX. With this experience I built a dedicated career named Virtuous 1v1, I have played an integral role in developing a training program that combines high-level soccer skills with a strong focus on character building. Through my work, I have contributed to refining five core pillars of athletic development—stability/mobility, flexibility/breathwork, plyometrics/power, strength/functional, and endurance/stamina. By emphasizing these areas, I have helped countless athletes reach new peaks in their performance, setting a foundation for lifelong physical and mental growth. My commitment to fostering resilience and discipline has not only strengthened players’ game-day readiness but also equipped them to embrace challenges off the pitch.

To improve someone’s soccer game, focus on refining their core technical skills—like ball control, passing accuracy, and shooting precision—while enhancing their physical conditioning through agility drills and endurance training. Finally, build mental resilience through mindset coaching, teaching them to stay focused, adapt quickly, and maintain confidence. A typical training session includes a dynamic warm-up focused on mobility and flexibility, preparing the body for high-intensity movement. This is followed by technical drills—such as dribbling, passing, and shooting—to build precision and ball control. Next, players engage in game-scenario exercises, like small-sided games, to sharpen tactical awareness and decision-making. The session concludes with a brief conditioning circuit targeting endurance, followed by cooldown stretches and a mental debrief to reinforce focus and resilience. This structure ensures players build physical strength, technical skill, and mental sharpness each session.

With a background in Developmental Psychology and extensive coaching experience through Virtuous 1v1 and private lessons, I bring a holistic approach to athlete development that goes beyond the physical aspects of soccer. My knowledge in psychology allows me to connect deeply with each player’s unique developmental needs, helping them cultivate mental resilience, emotional intelligence, and a growth-oriented mindset. Through tailored coaching sessions, I address technical skills, physical conditioning, and character-building principles, guiding athletes to excel both on the field and in life. My goal is to empower players with the tools they need to achieve sustainable success and personal growth.

Antonio Mohammed was the best coach I had because he exemplified leadership, tactical acumen, and a deep sense of empathy that made him a powerful influence on my development. His ability to balance technical rigor with an understanding of each player’s unique needs set him apart, as he not only knew how to push us to our limits but also when to support us during setbacks. Under his guidance, I learned to appreciate the importance of mental toughness and resilience in achieving success, both on the field and in life. His coaching style was strategic yet compassionate, making him a mentor who genuinely cared about our growth beyond just wins and losses. The lessons I learned from Antonio continue to shape my own approach as a coach, influencing how I support athletes to excel in their sport and develop character.

What athletes and parents should know about me:

The toughest lesson I had to learn throughout my maturity in the athletic world was learning how to be patient and stay composed in every win or lose, every success or failure, cheer or sadness. Always stay strong positive minded throughout out the good and bad because behind every consequence and path you take something something better always emerges. It all starts with your psychological mindset before your body even understands what you are trying to do or achieve.

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.

Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!

We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.

Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.

Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.

The AU guarantee (refund policy) has you covered! If you determine the coach isn't a good fit after your first lesson, let us know within 24 hours and you're eligible for a refund. We will also be happy to recommend another coach - be sure to contact our support team.
