About Me:

My experience as a drill coach and youth football head coach has been incredibly rewarding and fulfilling. As a drill coach, I’ve had the opportunity to break down complex skills and techniques into manageable steps for the players, ensuring they understand the fundamentals while building their confidence and physical abilities. It's been gratifying to see their progression, not just in executing drills, but in their overall growth as athletes.

As the head coach for a youth football team, I have the privilege of shaping young minds both on and off the field. It's about more than just the game; it's about instilling life lessons such as teamwork, discipline, perseverance, and respect for others. I work closely with my coaching staff to create a positive and encouraging environment where every player feels valued, and where we focus on individual development as well as team success. Leading the team has given me the chance to foster a culture of hard work and accountability, while also helping the kids develop a genuine love for the game.

1.) Personalized Skill Development: I start by assessing the player’s strengths and weaknesses. From there, I create a custom training plan that targets specific areas for improvement. Whether it’s footwork, speed, agility, ball handling, or position-specific skills, I focus on building a strong foundation and gradually increasing the difficulty to challenge the player.

2.)Fundamentals and Technique: Mastering the fundamentals is essential for long-term improvement. I ensure the player understands the importance of technique and form. By drilling the basics consistently, they can perform under pressure and make better decisions during the game.

3.) Game Understanding and Strategy: Improving a player’s game IQ is just as important as physical development. We’ll go over strategy, decision-making, and play recognition through film breakdowns, where I help the player analyze their own performance and identify areas for growth. This helps them understand not only how to execute plays, but why they’re making certain decisions during games.

4.) Mental Toughness and Confidence: The mental side of the game is often overlooked, but it’s crucial for success. I work with players to build mental resilience, focus, and confidence, which allows them to stay calm under pressure and perform their best in high-stakes situations.

A typical training session with me is tailored to fit the needs and goals of the athletes, and it often includes a combination of in-person training, virtual sessions, and film breakdown.

In-person training typically focuses on hands-on skill development, with an emphasis on fundamentals, technique, and conditioning. I structure the session around specific drills that target areas of improvement, whether it’s improving footwork, enhancing agility, or building strength. The focus is on quality repetition, making sure each player understands the "why" behind each drill. I provide immediate feedback and adjustments in real-time to ensure athletes are performing to the best of their abilities.

Virtual training comes into play when we need to work on mental aspects of the game, such as strategy, play recognition, or understanding specific drills that can be done at home. I offer virtual sessions where we go over drills, game situations, and tactics that players can practice on their own. We’ll also do Q&A sessions where I can offer personalized advice and address any concerns players might have.

Film breakdown is a crucial part of my training approach. I review footage of games or practices to analyze individual and team performance. We break down key moments to highlight strengths and areas for improvement. This is an opportunity for players to visually learn from their actions on the field, and I provide detailed feedback on how they can adjust their approach moving forward. Film sessions are interactive, with players being encouraged to ask questions and actively participate in the discussion.

I have a deep passion for both athletics and coaching, with a specific focus on helping young athletes reach their fullest potential. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with high school athletes, fostering their growth not only in their sport but also in life. If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.

Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!

We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.

Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.

Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.

The AU guarantee (refund policy) has you covered! If you determine the coach isn't a good fit after your first lesson, let us know within 24 hours and you're eligible for a refund. We will also be happy to recommend another coach - be sure to contact our support team.
