I’m an NCAA middle-distance track athlete and two-time NJAC All-Conference honoree who transitioned directly into coaching and performance development. My background is centered on the 800 and mile, with additional cross country and 5k/400m experience, which gives me range across both speed and endurance systems. I’ve worked as a track, speed, and mental performance coach, and I bring a high-accountability, competition-tested perspective to every athlete I work with. My approach is structured, technical, and results-driven, built from years of high-level training, race execution, and athlete mentorship.
As a cross country and track specialist, I improve athletes by targeting the exact systems that drive performance: mechanics, speed development, aerobic capacity, pacing strategy, and mental execution. I build event-specific training that connects workouts directly to race outcomes, not random mileage or generic drills. Middle-distance and distance athletes get race-pace modeling, interval structure, and threshold work that matches their event demands. Speed development is trained through mechanics, stride efficiency, and controlled power work, not just volume. I also coach the mental side - focus, confidence under pressure, and tactical decision-making - so athletes don’t just get fitter, they compete better.
A session with me always starts with intent, a clear goal for what we’re improving that day. We begin with a warm-up that primes mobility, strength, and nervous system readiness, followed by drills that reinforce efficient mechanics. Workouts are tailored to your event focus: speed and power intervals for 800m/milers, threshold and aerobic sessions for milers/5k/3k athletes, and mixed anaerobic-aerobic workouts for race-specific conditioning. Every training block includes race-pace efforts and technique cues, with ongoing feedback and adjustments. I emphasize recovery, consistency, and progression so you consistently improve without burning out.
In high school, I was an individual state qualifier in the 800m and a 4x800 state champion. I also competed in NCAA track and field as a middle-distance specialist in the 800m, and mile, occasionally racing the 5k/400m, and I earned two NJAC All-Conference honors. My understanding of training, pacing, and competitive strategy comes from years of high-level collegiate competition and translating those lessons into coaching.
The coaches who shaped my development are the two most successful distance coaches I’ve worked with. Nick Baker at Haddonfield Memorial High School is widely regarded as one of South Jersey’s most successful coaches in history, with decades of state, sectional, and national success, countless championships, and a culture of excellence that he built from the ground up. At the collegiate level, Dustin Dimit has consistently led Rowan to NJAC championships and NCAA success, is a multi-year conference Coach of the Year, and has guided programs to numerous All-Americans and team triumphs. His methods for building disciplined, competitive, team-driven athletes continue to inform how I coach today.
Athletes and their families should know I coach with clarity, honesty, and accountability. I set structured plans that are individualized and measurable, no vague workouts, just clear purpose behind every session. I communicate directly and supportively so athletes understand not just what they’re doing, but why it matters. Parents can trust that my approach prioritizes athlete well-being, balanced progression, and long-term growth, physically and mentally, while building confidence, resilience, and a strong work ethic that translates to success both on and off the track.

Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.
Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!
We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.
Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.
Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
