Athletic Background

Summary of Career and Accomplishments
With an extensive and decorated athletic career, I have excelled across multiple sports, earning recognition at the highest levels. I played Division 1 basketball at Utah State University, where I hold the record for the most games played in women’s basketball history, was team captain for three years, and ranked No. 9 in both career assists and career 3-pointers made. I was a 2017 Miss Kentucky Basketball finalist and the 2017 Kentucky 12th Region Player of the Year. A standout at Boyle County High School, I am the all-time leading scorer in basketball and a 3-time 12th Region Female Athlete of the Year (2015-2017). I also made the Kentucky and Ohio-Kentucky All-Star teams in 2017 and was named First Team All-State in soccer for three years (2015-2017). Additionally, I hold numerous All-District and All-Region accolades across basketball, track, and soccer. In track, I was a 4-time state champion in the 100m hurdles, 300m hurdles, 4x800m relay, and 4x400m relay, and I hold records in both the 100m and 400m hurdles at Boyle County High School. Currently, I am competing as a HYROX pro athlete, continuing to push myself in fitness competitions. My athletic journey has been defined by dedication, leadership, and a passion for pushing the limits of what’s possible.
Who is the best coach you ever had and why?
The best coach I ever had was Brent Wagner, who coached me in both track and soccer since I was 10 years old. He played a crucial role in developing my competitive drive and mental toughness, which are qualities that have shaped me throughout my athletic career. Brent was exceptional at offering constructive criticism that not only addressed areas of improvement but also built my confidence. He understood that the best thing a coach can do for an athlete is to give them confidence in their abilities, and he did just that. Even to this day, Brent continues to challenge me, pushing me to be my best and offering guidance whenever I need it. He’s one of my biggest supporters, always there to provide encouragement, tough love, and motivation. His belief in me has remained constant, and I carry the lessons he’s taught me in every area of my life, constantly striving to push my limits and achieve more.
What should athletes and parents know about you?

Coaching Background

Summary of Coaching Background
I have a diverse coaching background that spans multiple sports and training methods. Over the past year, I coached at F45 Training, where I gained extensive experience in group fitness and functional training. Currently, I work as a personal trainer, specializing in both strength training and training HYROX athletes to compete at a high level. Additionally, I’ve done private coaching for soccer, basketball, and track, working with athletes to improve their skills, strength, and overall performance. My coaching approach is centered around personalized, results-driven training that helps athletes unlock their full potential and achieve their goals.
How can you help someone improve their game?
I can help someone improve their game by providing personalized training that focuses on both the physical and mental aspects of athletic performance. Through my experience as a Division 1 basketball player, multi-sport athlete, and current HYROX competitor, I understand the dedication and strategies needed to excel in any sport. I’ll assess their strengths and areas for improvement, then design a tailored program to build key skills like agility, strength, endurance, and mental toughness. Whether it’s improving basketball shooting, track speed, or overall fitness, my goal is to guide athletes in pushing their limits, enhancing technique, and developing a winning mindset that translates to better performance on and off the field.
What does a typical training session look like?
A typical training session for basketball, soccer, or track would begin with a dynamic warm-up to activate the body and improve mobility. We’d then move into sport-specific drills—ball-handling, shooting, or footwork for basketball; dribbling, passing, and positioning for soccer; and sprinting, hurdle technique, or explosive drills for track. The focus would be on improving technical skills, decision-making, and game-specific performance, followed by high-intensity conditioning to build endurance and speed. Strength and agility work would be incorporated with plyometrics, sprints, or agility drills, tailored to each sport's needs. The session would end with a cool-down, focusing on stretching and recovery to reduce the risk of injury and improve flexibility. Throughout, I emphasize mental toughness, pushing athletes to develop confidence, work ethic, and the drive to continually improve.
