Who is the best coach you ever had and why?
My high school coach taught me discipline and striving for excellence. My chance to play/perform was earned, because I worked hard for it. She taught me to show up as my best even to practice. She was also compassionate toward our individual experiences (because we all have those tough days). She taught me to stay focused during those times and to remind myself what's really important "at the end of the day."
Strength + Resiliency
What should athletes and parents know about you?
My background knowledge and experience is extensive which allows me to look at my athletes from a holistic standpoint. I consider all aspects; physical, mental, emotional. This includes strength/speed training, performance nutrition, mindset, and attitude. Well-rounded athletes understand that being and doing your best goes beyond what happens in the game.
