Helping athletes build confidence, focus, and resilience under pressure.

Every athlete experiences mistakes, pressure, frustration, and self-doubt. The difference between good athletes and great athletes is how they respond to those moments. I help athletes develop practical mental skills that improve confidence, focus, emotional regulation, resilience, and consistency in sport and life. Using evidence-based Psychological Skills Training, athletes learn how to reset after mistakes, manage pressure, stay present, and trust their preparation when it matters most. My goal is simple: help athletes become more confident, resilient, and consistent performers while developing skills that extend beyond sport.

About me

I am a Mental Performance & Athlete Development Coach with a Master's in Performance Psychology and a Bachelor's in Kinesiology with a concentration in Clinical Movement Science.

As both an athlete and coach, I understand that success is about more than physical ability. Athletes often spend years developing technical and physical skills, but are rarely taught how to manage pressure, recover from mistakes, regulate emotions, or maintain confidence when challenges arise.

My approach combines evidence-based Psychological Skills Training (PST), performance psychology, and athlete-centered coaching to help athletes strengthen the mental side of performance. My goal is to help athletes develop skills that not only improve performance in sport but also support growth, resilience, and well-being in life.

Mental skills can be trained just like physical skills.

I help athletes improve:

• Confidence under pressure

• Focus and attentional control

• Emotional regulation and composure

• Resilience after mistakes and setbacks

• Pre-performance and competition routines

• Self-talk and mindset development

• Return-to-sport confidence after injury

Whether you're preparing for competition, working through performance slumps, returning from injury, or simply looking to gain a mental edge, I provide practical tools you can apply immediately in training and competition.

Each session is tailored to the athlete's goals, challenges, and sport.

We begin by identifying current performance obstacles and areas for growth. From there, we introduce practical mental skills and strategies that can be applied directly to training and competition.

Sessions often include:

• Goal setting and performance planning

• Confidence-building strategies

• Focus and attentional control exercises

• Emotional regulation techniques

• Self-talk development

• Reflection and action planning

Athletes leave each session with clear tools, exercises, and action steps to practice between meetings.

Specialized interest in performance under pressure, resilience, and return-to-sport psychology

The best coaches I have had challenged me to grow while making me feel supported as a person first and an athlete second. They taught me that performance and well-being are not opposites, and that the strongest athletes learn how to respond to adversity rather than avoid it. That philosophy continues to influence how I coach today.

Athletes and parents should know that I take a supportive, athlete-centered approach. My goal is not to "fix" athletes, but to help them build the skills needed to navigate pressure, setbacks, confidence fluctuations, and the challenges that naturally come with sport.

I believe mental performance is a skill that can be developed through practice. Progress takes time, and my role is to help athletes build confidence, self-awareness, and resilience one step at a time.

My philosophy is simple: All-In, Not All At Once.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.

Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!

We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.

Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.

Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.

  • Good Fit Guarantee — If your first lesson isn't the right fit, we'll move your lesson credit to a new coach. No hassle.

  • Easy rescheduling — Cancel or reschedule up to 4 hours before a lesson, no questions asked.

  • Coach no-shows — You'll be fully credited and we'll help you find a replacement.

  • Flexible credits — Unused lessons last 12 months and can be used with any coach on the platform.

AU was created by former college and pro athletes. We understand the benefits of training with a private coach. It develops discipline, boosts confidence, and provides an undeniable advantage - whether you are just learning the game or looking to earn a college scholarship. All AU coaches are required to pass a thorough onboarding process + background check, so you can trust you're training with the best.
