Why Train With Me?

The process isn’t easy. That’s the whole reason of playing a sport, nothing happens overnight. But with me, the process will be doable, manageable, and attainable. Just like physical attributes for your sport, there needs to be mental attributes. I have a background playing sports, coaching sports, and I’m a mental health professional. It is my duty to be able to effectively teach and communicate the mindset and the game with a positive philosophy to the athlete. With me, there will be hands-on coaching and education to provide insight into the mindset of the athlete to make the difference from off the field, to on the field.

Athletic Background

Summary of Career and Accomplishments
I’m an associate mental health professional working towards full licensure. I have over 20 years of sports experience, training, and education. I also have played collegiate baseball and lacrosse.
Who is the best coach you ever had and why?
What should athletes and parents know about you?
I want to get things done. Competing in sports is not only about winning, but how to have class, respect for the game, communication, expectations, learning how to receive feedback, and dealing with conflict.

Coaching Background

Summary of Coaching Background
How can you help someone improve their game?
Having a positive mindset. The detriment to most people’s game is the thought of “I can’t do it” and my goal is to help change the athletes game and take it to another level.
What does a typical training session look like?
A typical session will include an overview of the treatment plan (what we want to accomplish), a plan of action/strategy (how we will accomplish the goals), education and training, and time for Q&A if there are any questions. At the end of the training session, there will be a review of how the session went, and if there was anything else that needed to be worked on for the next session.
