As a young basketball trainer, I bring a unique perspective to coaching, fueled by my current role as a college basketball player. With firsthand experience on the court, I understand the game at a high level and can impart practical insights to aspiring players. My coaching style blends the passion and energy of a young athlete with the discipline and strategic understanding gained from playing at the college level. I focus not only on skill development but also on fostering a positive and growth-oriented mindset, encouraging my trainees to embrace challenges and continuously improve. My goal is to inspire and guide the next generation of basketball players, drawing from my own journey as both a student of the game and an active participant on the college basketball scene.

I am a Worcester Academy Alumni and a four-year varsity basketball player as a shooting guard. I am currently studying and playing basketball at Yale University.
To help someone elevate their game, I start by understanding their unique strengths and areas that need work. We then craft a personalized training plan, honing in on specific skills like shooting, and ball handling. Additionally, I focus on developing basketball IQ by emphasizing strategic thinking and decision-making on the court. Beyond the physical aspects, I also provide guidance on mental toughness, confidence-building, and maintaining a positive mindset. The goal is not just to enhance individual skills but to create well-rounded players who can contribute effectively to their teams.
In a typical training session, I adapt the workout to the specific needs and goals of the player. We usually start with a thorough warm-up, focusing on agility, and stretching to prepare the body. Then, we dive into skill development drills, improving in on areas like shooting technique, ball handling, footwork. I also emphasize the importance of fundamentals while incorporating game-like scenarios to simulate real playing conditions. The goal is to not only enhance technical skills but also to instill a strategic understanding of the game. I keep the workout fun and engaging, ensuring players leave with a sense of improvement and motivation for the next one.
I have been training kids for a couple years when I am back home from college.
The best basketball coach I ever had was Coach Johnson in high school. What set her apart was her ability to not only teach the fundamentals of the game but also inspire and motivate us as a team. She had this incredible knack for understanding each player's strengths and weaknesses and tailoring her coaching style to bring out the best in each of us. Her emphasis on teamwork, discipline, and a positive mindset created a strong bond among the players, making us not just a team on the court but a family. She also instilled valuable life lessons that many of us carry with us today.
I grew up in Bandol, France and moved to Chicago when I was 14. I attended Evanston Township high school in Chicago before transferring to Worcester Academy for my senior year. I played for AAU program EYBL Midwest Elite 9th and 10th grade and joined Chicago Hoops Express fro my last year of AAU. I grew up around basketball and quickly fell in love with the game thanks to my father whoo played at Purdue and my brother who is currently playing at Harvard. I turned myself into a college prospect and earned 12 Division 1 offers by my junior year. I am currently studying and playing basketball at Yale University. I am a hard worker and am constantly looking for opportunities to grow as a person and as a player, coaching kids being one of them.

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.
Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.
Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!
We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.
Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.
Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
The AU guarantee (refund policy) has you covered! If you determine the coach isn't a good fit after your first lesson, let us know within 24 hours and you're eligible for a refund. We will also be happy to recommend another coach - be sure to contact our support team.
