Hey! I'm Coach LD, a former college athlete and coach. I played soccer at both DII Pace University and DIII Bridgewater State University. As a former college Goalkeeper, I specialize in training aspiring goalkeepers, at any level in the game. I spent 4 year as the Regional Director of Goalkeeping for and elite soccer cub in Southern Mass., followed by 5 years coaching at the collegiate level. Outside of my soccer background, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker which allows me to pull mental health and awareness into all of my training sessions. Whether I am training with goalkeepers or running agility and strength sessions, I feel it is important that everyone understands the mind & body connection and is given the skills to maximize the potential of this natural connection. If you're ready to tap into your full potential, let's get to work!

At the start of my coaching career, I served as the regional goalkeeper coach for FC Stars of Massachusetts from 2018-2023. My first collegiate coaching position was held at Curry College from 2019 to 2021 as the Head Goalkeeper Coach and 2nd Team Assistant. I joined the Bridgewater State Women's Soccer Staff in the summer of 2022 and stepped away in the Spring of 2024 to pursue another career opportunity.
In 56 games over three seasons between the pipes for the BSU women's soccer team from 2015 to 2017, I posted a career 0.89 goals against average with 294 saves, a .852 save percentage, 29 wins and 24 shutouts. I am the Bears' all-time leader in goals against average and shutouts, and am also second all-time in wins and third in both games played and minutes played (5135:43).
A three-time All-MASCAC selection, I was selected as the MASCAC Player of the Year during my junior season of 2016. I set the Bears' single-season record with 10.5 shutouts and posted a 0.60 goals against average.
After graduating with my masters in 2021, I developed my first curriculum (C.O.R.) teaching youth skills to better self-manage through various physical activities and movement. The foundations of the C.O.R. curriculum have been used in the development of programming I have since developed. In 2023, I received The Girls Inc. Woman of Achievement Award, recognizing my commitment to empowering youth in my community. My most recent programing, U.N.I.T., is being offered to middle school youth in Taunton as an after school program.
I meet players where they are. Meaning, every approach to my training sessions are tailored ot the individual athlete. It is important that I hear from the player about their wants, goals and needs. I feel it is important to get a full understanding of where they feel they are in their training, see and observe how they train and understand what they are looking to get out of it. From there, we will make a plan that will get us both to where you want to be!
All agility and sport specific trainings are 60min. We begin with a warm up (10min), followed by two focused training topics (20min each), and finally wrapping up with a training challenge or fitness (10min).
For any athlete that inquires about mental performance coaching, these are held virtually for 45min.

Outside of the soccer specific coaching, I have been in charge of the strength and agility training programs for a few of the programs I worked with. Many of the athletes I work with through my personal programming, C.O.R., come to me with the interest in training in the area of mobility. With my knowledge and education in mental health and wellness, I have worked with young people on the level of mental performance and mindset (non-therapeutically).
My most influential coach was my goalkeeper coach, who I had the opportunity to work with throughout my adolescence and collegiate career. Our training sessions were visibly planned around the position but the lessons that developed throughout the session were always transferable to life off the field. She understood the power of sports and the opportunity it granted to build not only a better athlete, but a better individual. She was the motivating factor in much of the programs I run today.
I am dedicated to creating a fun and safe space for all athletes to grow and develop in. Whatever the goal may be for each individual athlete, I am confident that we can design a personalized plan to meet your athlete's needs. I understand that this is no small commitment and I am want to be sure that both you and your athlete get what you are seeking in my sessions.

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.
Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.
Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!
We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.
Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.
Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
The AU guarantee (refund policy) has you covered! If you determine the coach isn't a good fit after your first lesson, let us know within 24 hours and you're eligible for a refund. We will also be happy to recommend another coach - be sure to contact our support team.
Our coaches are open to helping athletes of any age and skill level. Please message your desired coach to ensure their skillset fits your needs.
