Three sport collegiate athlete: Football, Track & Field, and Wrestling. I was just a slightly above average athlete with an elite mindset and elite work ethic, but had success because I was able to reverse engineer what elite performers had in common and created a system to do the same.
I take a comprehensive (holisitc) approach to training each athlete and team, and choose exercises and movements that will improve how well the athlete moves and plays, with specific regard to selecting exercises that will help develop specific areas for specific ages as part of a long term athlete development plan. This means training athletic fundamentals. As the athlete ages, more focus can be on specificity, but the younger the athlete, the more important it is to expose the athlete to all types of training to produce a better athlete. The better the athlete, the better they will be at their sport(s).
A typical training session will vary, depending on what the specific goal will be - if it's speed or speed, agility and quickness only, it can be done at a field. I have my own speed training equipment that I will provide if/when the athlete is ready to use it. Sessions are progressive and built upon each skillset that is learned. All movements and exercises are carefully taught and coached, and integrated into drills. Weight room training, including plyometrics will be specific to the goals and needs of each athlete.
I have been coaching teams and individuals since before 2000, and have developed athletes as young as 7 years old. I have traveled the world as the strength and conditioning coach with USA Hockey's U18 Women's Team, owned my own private sports training facilities, was a strength and conditioning coach for championship college lacrosse, hockey and golf programs, and have traveled around the USA speaking about mental and physical performance training for elite youth sports performance. I have a BS and MS degree in Exercise Science, Performance Enhancement and Injury Prevention. I am a certified Strength and Conditioning Coach (CSCS) with the NSCA, a Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC) with the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCa), a certified Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES) with the NASM, a certified Speed and Explosion Coach with NASE, a Mental Performance Mastery Certified Coach (MPM), and certified Golf Fitness Coach with the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI), and I'm current on First Aid, CPR and AED with youth and adult.
I have been fortunate to not only have great coaches when I was an athlete, but also have worked with a lot of great coaches who have an incredible ability to communicate with athletes to teach and make every athlete feel appreciated in their role on the team. These coaches understood each player on an individual level and was able to lead them to championship teams.
I have a high standard for coaching and hold myself accountable to those standards. As a result, each session is packed with specific exercises and drills based on the needs and goals of the individual. I have high expectations for each athlete I train and incorporate different elements of mental performance in all strength and conditioning or speed workouts that I administer.

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.
Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.
Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!
We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.
Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.
Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
