I help athletes improve their game by focusing on a few key areas:
Personalized Skill Development: I assess each athlete's strengths and areas for improvement, creating a customized plan that hones fundamental techniques and gradually introduces advanced skills, suited to their position and style of play.
Game IQ and Strategy: I emphasize understanding the game, not just playing it. Through breakdowns of game scenarios, defensive strategies, and situational awareness drills, I help athletes make smarter decisions under pressure.
Building Physical and Mental Resilience: I focus on conditioning, strength training, and injury prevention to build an athlete’s physical foundation. Just as importantly, I work on mental toughness, helping athletes stay focused, confident, and adaptable.
Feedback and Progress Tracking: I give regular, constructive feedback and track performance over time, so athletes can see their progress and know where to focus next.
Teamwork and Leadership Development: I instill the importance of teamwork, communication, and leadership, which elevates not only individual performance but also the team dynamic.
By combining these elements, I ensure athletes are continuously improving, better prepared for competition, and driven to reach new levels of success.
A typical training session is structured to maximize skill development, physical conditioning, and game understanding. Here’s what it looks like:
Warm-Up and Mobility Drills (10-15 mins)
We start with dynamic stretching and mobility exercises to prepare the body, improve flexibility, and prevent injuries. This often includes agility drills and short sprints to increase speed and coordination.
Fundamentals and Technique Work (20-30 mins)
The core of the session focuses on refining key skills specific to the athlete’s position. This might involve footwork drills, ball-handling, tackling techniques, or shooting form, depending on the sport and position.
Game Situations and Strategy Drills (20-30 mins)
I incorporate drills that mimic in-game scenarios, teaching athletes how to make quick, strategic decisions. This could include offensive and defensive drills, reaction-based exercises, or group work focused on communication and teamwork.
Strength and Conditioning (10-15 mins)
We wrap up with conditioning exercises designed to build strength, speed, and endurance, using bodyweight exercises, resistance training, or plyometrics to enhance power and resilience.
Cool-Down and Review (5-10 mins)
Finally, we cool down with static stretches to aid recovery and prevent soreness. I also take a few minutes to review key takeaways, discuss what went well, and identify areas for continued focus.
This structure ensures that each session is well-rounded, targeting both skill refinement and physical development, while gradually building the athlete’s game IQ and mental focus.

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.
Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.
Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!
We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.
Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.
Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
The AU guarantee (refund policy) has you covered! If you determine the coach isn't a good fit after your first lesson, let us know within 24 hours and you're eligible for a refund. We will also be happy to recommend another coach - be sure to contact our support team.
Our coaches are open to helping athletes of any age and skill level. Please message your desired coach to ensure their skillset fits your needs.
