Athletic Background
Summary of Career and Accomplishments
I have played sports my entire life, including Football, Baseball, Basketball, Soccer, Wrestling, and Volleyball. I played Soccer and Baseball in High School, and without my passion for sports, I wouldn't have found my passion for enhancing athletes' mental performance.
Who is the best coach you ever had and why?
My favorite coach of all time is Coach JJ. He taught me how to play soccer, and through his teachings, he developed me as an athlete and as a person on and off the field. I found a love for playing soccer like no sport before it because of him. I started off as someone who had never kicked a soccer ball before to becoming the team captain of my soccer team, and I know I wouldn't be the man I am today if it wasn't for him.
What should athletes and parents know about you?
I am someone who loves sports like no other. I can relate to each athlete no matter the sport he or she plays because of the knowledge I have due to my passion for sports. I love watching College Football more than any other sport, and I am a massive FSU and FAU supporter.
Coaching Background
Summary of Coaching Background
I have been working with athletes for over three years now, and I have been working as a Mental Performance Coach with Griff Psychological Associates for six months, helping each athlete gain an elite mindset.
How can you help someone improve their game?
I can help someone improve their mental game simply because I love what I do. In order to be productive in helping an athlete's mental game, you must first love what you do, and from there, nothing can stop you. From a qualifications standpoint, I have received my Bachelor's in Psychology from Florida Atlantic University and my Master's in Sport Psychology from Florida State University. In addition, I have acquired and maintained a job in which I provide mental performance services to various populations ranging from children to professional and amateur athletes (youth, adults, and seniors). I also provide mental performance services to military personnel and actors.
What does a typical training session look like?
A typical training session lasts roughly 45-60 minutes and revolves around the athlete's needs, whether that be through a preplanned activity and a talk that I lead or a topic the athlete wants to bring up.
