After professional athletic career was cut short by two serious knee injuries, I transitioned to serving in the US Army. Following my service, I earned an associate's degree in occupational studies (emphasizing personal training) and became certified through NASM in corrective exercise, fitness nutrition, and MMA conditioning. Leveraging my athletic experience, advanced education, and industry expertise, I now focus on mentoring and empowering the next generation of young athletes.
I specialize in helping athletes unlock their full potential by using proven, unconventional training methods developed through my experience working with a USA Olympic Gold Medalist sprinter and coach.
My unique approach not only builds strength and conditioning but also enhances speed, agility, quickness, and power. It prepares your body for the expected and the unexpected challenges of competition, reducing injury risk while maximizing performance.
Unlike traditional training methods, I focus on how the body naturally moves. Using multiplanar movements, varied resistance lines, and force vectors, my training mirrors real game dynamics, ensuring your performance translates directly to the field or court.
By developing flexibility, mobility, and a well-balanced body, my training decreases the risk of injuries. You'll feel stronger, more agile, and more confident, knowing your body is prepared for anything.
If you're ready to elevate your game and train like the champions, let’s get started. Together, we’ll build the strength, speed, and agility you need to dominate your sport.
Sports performance training is geared toward motions and exercises that directly translate to actions on the field. It’s hyper-focused. Your performance capabilities are the foundation of your skills on the field. Good fitness levels and game knowledge are obviously incredibly important.
A typical sports performance training session is designed to enhance an athlete's physical abilities, such as strength, speed, agility, endurance, and flexibility, while also focusing on injury prevention and sport-specific skills. Here’s a general outline of what such a session might include:
1. Warm-Up: dynamic stretches, mobility drills, low-intensity cardio.
2. Movement Prep: Activation exercises, neuromuscular activation.
3. Skill-Specific Drills: Sport-specific exercises, reaction and coordination drills.
4. Strength Training: Compound lifts, Functional strength movements, sport-specific strength, explosive training.
5. Conditioning: High-intensity interval training (HIIT) or sport-specific conditioning drills, emphasis on energy system development aligned with the sport.
6. Cool-Down: Static stretching, self-myofascial release (foam rolling), breathing exercises.
7. Injury Prevention/Recovery (Optional): Prehab exercises, light mobility work or recovery modalities.
Individualization: The session is tailored to the athlete’s sport, position, current fitness level, and goals.
Progression: Exercises and intensity progressively challenge the athlete while avoiding overtraining.
Monitoring: Performance metrics or fatigue levels might be tracked to optimize future sessions.
I have experience as a high school assistant coach, specializing in special teams, offensive scheme and coaching running backs. Additionally, I served as a collegiate student coach, contributing to various aspects of the game, including weight room workouts, on-field practice, and film breakdown.
Coach Bobby Wallace left a lasting impact on me! The qualities highlighted—integrity, fostering relationships, and truly embodying an open-door policy—speak to his character as both a coach and a person. A great coach is someone who not only teaches the skills of the game but also builds trust, cares about their players' well-being, and creates an environment where players feel supported and valued.
I had the opportunity to turn pro, but I wouldn't graduate from UWA if I chose to leave early to pursue my pro career. Coach Wallace gave me his word that I would be able to come back to UWA and finish my degree if and when need be, and that's exactly what happened.
Coach Wallace truly exemplified trust and leadership! Coach Wallace’s commitment to keeping his word and ensuring I had the opportunity to finish my degree truly exemplified his integrity and the deep care he had for his players beyond the game. It’s rare to find someone who not only supports your dreams but also provides a safety net for when life takes unexpected turns.
Coach not only honored his word but also empowered me to transition into a new chapter of my life with purpose and stability.
This speaks volumes about the type of mentor and person he was—someone who valued education and the well-being of his players as much as their athletic success.
I am a man of integrity and character, committed to making a difference in the lives of athletes. My work goes beyond sport-specific training or building strength, speed, and agility—it's about making an impact that transcends the game.
To me, sports performance is a platform to inspire, motivate, and encourage athletes, fostering personal growth and accountability. My goal is to influence and empower athletes to not only excel on the court or field but also to thrive in life.
I place a strong emphasis on accountability, commitment, and effort, guiding athletes to push their limits both physically and mentally. Training with me is about sharpening skills, building a strong body, and cultivating the mindset needed to succeed in all areas of life.
Together, we’re not just working to win the game—we’re building champions for life.

Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.
Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!
We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.
Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.
Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
The AU guarantee (refund policy) has you covered! If you determine the coach isn't a good fit after your first lesson, let us know within 24 hours and you're eligible for a refund. We will also be happy to recommend another coach - be sure to contact our support team.
Our coaches are open to helping athletes of any age and skill level. Please message your desired coach to ensure their skillset fits your needs.
