How I can help you improve your game:

With an emphasis on the basic fundamentals and most important aspects of the lacrosse game we will look at each players individual strengths and weakness. We build upon what the athlete is good at and fine tune the areas of their game that need improvement. I want player to be able to read and react with confidence as the game unfolds in front of them. We will improve the three main facets of the game Speed/Agility, Skills, Lacrosse IQ. Lacrosse is a physically demanding sport and our sessions will help prepare my students to be physically fit to take on the game. The actual skills are what makes lacrosse a fun fast sport and we will focus on how to be dominate in fundamentals which to allow the student to access at any level of play. The lacrosse IQ combined with a strong skill set will allow the students to be creative and dominate on the field.

Best coach I ever had:

I feel I have had several very transformational coaches throughout my career at several different levels. They helped me not only grow my sports skills but taught me life lessons in helping to define my growth as a person. My high school JV hockey coach comes to mind as a person who was always in my corner when I needed support and words of encouragement. He also taught me lessons of accountability and ownership that have grown in to values I still am guided by today. My college Lacrosse coach was also a hugely influential presence in my life. The way he coached was larger than life, it was different, refreshing, coarse and honest beauty at times, with a drive to be fundamentally great. He lead his teams to a 208-52 record and 5 national titles at CSU and his coaching style is very present in mine. He had a drive to push us to do everything right, every time, be inspired by where you are not where you aren't yet, empower players, push them, but also love them. He taught us that you have to do stuff out don't want to do, that you don't like, but it will make you better for it. He did amazing things for the sport of lacrosse and his creativity has its finger prints all over the modern game, I aspire to be as good of a person and Coach as he was.

What athletes and parents should know about me:

I love the game of Lacrosse and Coaching.

Sports have played a huge role in my life and helping me become the person I am today

I have had several very transformative coaches through out my playing career who were pivotal in helping me become a better athlete and person. Coaching for me is the opportunity to honor my mentors by helping young players become better at their sport and as young adults. I look forward to helping young athletes dial in their skills and watching as lacrosse takes them amazing places. I am a fundamentally driven Coach who wants players to have the skills to succeed at every level.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.

Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!

We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.

Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.

Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.

The AU guarantee (refund policy) has you covered! If you determine the coach isn't a good fit after your first lesson, let us know within 24 hours and you're eligible for a refund. We will also be happy to recommend another coach - be sure to contact our support team.

Our coaches are open to helping athletes of any age and skill level. Please message your desired coach to ensure their skillset fits your needs.
