About Me:

Elite youth and High School soccer career, followed by a short stint in college before retiring to focus on my studies. I have since coached at the elite youth soccer level and worked for a professional soccer team doing logistics and operations.

As a Mental Performance Coach, I can help athletes improve their game by focusing on the mental and emotional aspects of performance. I work with individuals to develop mental skills that enhance focus, confidence, and resilience, helping them overcome anxiety, self-doubt, or performance pressure. I assist in setting clear, achievable goals, creating effective visualization techniques, and teaching mindfulness practices that can increase concentration during critical moments. Additionally, I support athletes in managing stress, building mental toughness, and maintaining motivation, all of which contribute to peak performance. By fostering a strong mental foundation, athletes can unlock their full potential both in training and competition.

What a typical training session looks like with me:

A typical sports psychology training session is client-led, focusing on the athlete’s personal goals and challenges. We begin with a check-in to assess their mental and emotional state, followed by goal setting to clarify objectives. We then work on developing key mental skills like concentration, confidence, and stress management, always tailored to the athlete's needs. I enjoy connecting with athletes personally and celebrating their weekly successes both on and off the field. The session concludes with a discussion on applying these strategies to their sport, along with actionable steps to practice between sessions. This is all loosely based, and I enjoy prioritizing what my clients want to discuss if there is anything on their minds. I also love to prioritize celebrating with my athletes over their successes on and off the field between sessions so I make that a priority to go over during our time together.

I have worked with athletes of all levels, tailoring strategies to their unique needs and empowering them to achieve their goals both on and off the field.

Best coach I ever had:

My high school Varsity coach was the best coach I ever had. He pushed me to grow as a player every single year in new ways, gave me the freedom on the field tactically that helped my contribute to the team in the most positive way and brought joy to (most) every practice and game. He was a very positive person and was so smart and driven about the game of soccer in a humble way that really shaped the way I wanted to coach in the future. I always wanted to be a coach and him knowing this was huge for my growth as a person, player and future coach. He really nurtured that desire to coach and helped me learn to lead on and off the field as a player, both with my play and my tactics and way I supported and talked to my teammates. I owe a lot of who I am in my sports journey to him.

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.

Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!

We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.

Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.

Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.

The AU guarantee (refund policy) has you covered! If you determine the coach isn't a good fit after your first lesson, let us know within 24 hours and you're eligible for a refund. We will also be happy to recommend another coach - be sure to contact our support team.
